Abysmal and it shows. Went twice, first time I thought “everyone has bad days” so tried it again a few weeks later and wow. Nothing was hot, queso is the stuff from the grocery store. Nothing tasted fresh. Do yourself a favor and go to Los Reyes across the street or LaHa. The parking lot never has people there and the other places are always packed. Easy to see why.

They understood no english and completely cooked the wrong food after waiting for 25 minutes , make sure you speak spanish or have a translator there when you order

Very bad. The food was not served as it appears on the menu, I do not recommend this restaurant. The salad is just lettuce, the pico de gallo has no tomato. The rice is dry and the soda has no gas.

They charge for tap water here! Salsa was excellent. Waitress was inattentive.

Went here with some of my family and my friend and had the WORST experience ever. Not only was our server inattentive, but the food was nasty. Not good at all. The manager had come over and comped our meals for us which was courteous. Not like we ate our food anyway. We waited 30 minutes for our server to come back, then an additional 15 minutes for the check, only to find out we had no tab since it had been comped earlier. Now here’s THE literal best part, due to the fact that we had no check to pay there was no tip we’d be able to sign for. My family and i decided to go to the nearby gas station to get cash so we can tip out our server. Although she took forever to attend us, the food was obviously not her fault. Since she had consistently been so hard to locate throughout the entirety of our meal, we decided we’d just come back. What was COMPLETELY inappropriate was a DIFFERENT server running out the restaurant and standing in FRONT OF MY CAR to prevent us from leaving, and we thought she needed something so i rolled down my window and she really had the audacity to tell me that the other waitress works for tips... yes, 100% she does. I work in a restaurant as well I’m more than educated on how tipping works. Completely hands down the worst experience I’ve ever had in a restaurant.

My wife and I were disappointed with the odd flavor with our food. Although we had different dishes, we both had an odd metallic after-taste that didn't go away until we ate some ice cream after we left. The food was presented to our table in large quantities, hot and with a good appearance, but that taste of the refried beans and rice not good at all. My grilled chicken and peppers were okay, but the odd after-taste of the beans and rice detracted from the meal. We suddenly realized why the parking lot only had two cars while the other Mexican restaurant across the street many more cars parked there. Don't think we'll make this mistake again. Not worth the drive from James Island.

Lunch on Saturday. Restaurant is in an old Applebee's that they're trying to repurpose. Obviously running on a shoestring, but they deserve a chance.Service was excellent. Food was great. Music was good. We'll be back. No alcohol yet (2/20), but it is coming soon, according to our server.I wonder if they have a second menu for the Hispanic clientele. The folks next door were having things I don't think were on the standard Mexican restaurant menu we got, but I could be wrong.

Could be better. Chips were hot and crispy. Salsa tasted good and fresh. Pastor Tacos were okay. Not sure what needs to be improved. I guess there's just so many other Mexican restaurants around....
