Good ciders but poor service. About a year ago I had a negative experience with poor customer service, tonight I decided to give this place another try… well on a Friday busy night it was closed because “the bartender couldn’t make it” they have a food truck sitting there without service because… well because the business is closed. It is a shame but I don’t think the owner takes this business seriously.

Husband and I spent 2 days in Charleston in summer 2021 and were so glad we found this spot! We aren't big drinkers but cider is our drink of choice. We got a flight plus like 2 or 3 others. The cherry orange cider was delicious! So much so that when my brother was in Charleston a few months ago I made him go get me more. (We live in Florida) The environment was nice. Spacious seating area outside with plenty of shade - this was nice since at that time people were still keeping their distance. I do wish the had some other choices for food, I believe there was just the one food truck there that wasn't really our taste.

Great ciders with friendly staff, dog friendly outdoor seating, and board games! Good option for groups of 2-6 people

I didn't try any food but what caught my attention was the fact that everybody was Ordering 4 drinks at a time. They brew their own drinks which is really cool. The frozen drink was my favorite.

Great variety of cider. Games to play while you enjoy one. Tasty sushi and hibachi from the resident food truck. Overall a nice place to hangout and relax with friends and family.

Absolutely fantastic place! The atmosphere is super relaxed and the cider is always crisp & refreshing. I really enjoy all the different kinds of flavors they have there — can’t recommend the flight enough. Ship’s Wheel never disappoints! You’ll feel like family here.

I'm not really a cider guy but met some friends at Park Circle and wondered into Ships Wheel. Boy was I pleasantly surprised!! We had fun trying the various flavors of cider. I was impressed with the quality of the product and the friendliness of the staff.Highly recommend!

I've been wanting to stop by Ship's Wheel for a while, and I'm so glad I finally did. They have a bunch of outdoor seating, which is really great. I went with the Guava Spicy Cider and it was SO GOOD. It's been two weeks and I'm STILL thinking about that cider. I normally can't drink more than one cider, but I definitely could have drank multiple ciders there if I had the time. This is such a great addition to the Park Circle area, and I was glad to see the place so busy on a Saturday night. This is a great place to stop by if you're bar hopping in Park Circle, or if you want to grab an after dinner drink. Parking in Park Circle can be hit-or-miss, but this spot is definitely worth the effort, and is a cool, unique Charleston spot.

We wandered in here on a Friday afternoon waiting for our car to finish being worked on, and WOW!! The cider was refreshing and delicious! The family who owns it was so wonderful to chat with about the area while we tasted different ciders! We will definitely be back, and highly recommend!

Wonderful ciders! Even if you don't like ciders, go give them a try. My boyfriend doesn't like them but he tried their Gold Rush and really liked it. I got their flight and I think I would have to say my favorites are the OG and the Gold Rush. There is a $1 charge to add any speciality cider to your flight but it's worth it. They have games stacked in the back by the gender neutral bathrooms that you can play with. If you're feeling hungry, they are in business with Tobo Sushi and they are amazing.
