This place was an excellent find. Looking for lunch, came across it for beer and they ended up having satisfying food. Big menu for a brewery. Shared three items, and we liked all of them. The cucumber salad was a huge hit with both of us. Also the meat sampler platter was HUGE. Easily could have served 4. I was hesitant about the smoked cream cheese, and its the thing I ended up liking the most!! Unique and really good. Don't miss it when you are there. Served with the pita chips it can be a meal in itself. Pickle chips were exactly what you think a fried pickle chip is. Beers were good and worth the 3.79 overall brewery rating on Untapped. Good draft variety, offerings of wine and cider as well for those who don't like/can't have beer. Was quiet the day we were there, but certainly can see it getting busy and loud. Recommend for lunch, absolutely. Wish I could give 4.5 stars. It wasn't quite 5, but it is better than 4.

What a fun brewery tucked away in North Charleston. What a true hidden gem. Great food menu- best food at a brewery in this area. I had the special- soft shell crab and cucumber salad. Delish!! Beers- were solid. Did a flight of porters and stouts. My favorite was the Seaside S'more's- not too sweet and so flavorful. Service- bartenders were so friendly and helpful with food and beer choices. A must visit and return as often as possible.

Server wouldn't serve me because "sorry sweetie, you're a little too drunk". Wasn't driving and definitely wasn't drunk. Was trying a new place out and they had stopped serving food. Was trying to sample a couple of IPAs; but that is okay. Will let all of our friends know, don't go here... a couple of beers means you are too drunk!

Tideland Brewing is easily my favorite brewery in Charleston! The first time we came here we planned to brewery hop and ended up staying all day!! The bartenders have become some of my favorite people over the years, the atmosphere is amazing, beers are all so great, and the food is phenomenal! Despite being counter service only, they work together so that you aren't waiting long to order! It is a great place to be, I couldn't ask for anything better!

My wife and I sat at a table tonight for 20 minutes while everyone (3-4 employees) stood behind the bar eating snacks having a grand time. No one came over with a menu, or hollered what can we get you like they normally do. They were dead slow too,I’m not being unreasonable. I’ve been here roughly 10 times on business and personal lunches and this was awful. I don’t understand why we were ignored tonight. Thanks for nothing now we are driving 30 mins home after wasting our time at tideland. ???

Their variety, service and atmosphere really outshined other breweries.They have the best version of every beer you can produce.The Kettle Sour ☑️The Blonde Stout ☑️The Coffee Porter ☑️The Mexican Lager ☑️Did I mention they have a monthly beer milkshake??? For March it’s an Irish Stout! Wowsa.And these fried pickles

I enjoyed my first visit to Tideland Brewing! There’s a diverse beer menu with a mix of flagships and limited releases. The food menu is good too - especially the pretzels. The beertenders were fantastic - shoutout to Molly and Brian! I look forward to going back soon.

This place is a gem! I've been several times... The staff are amazing! Super knowledgeable, friendly and excellent service. The food is fantastic and they get it out quick. The beers are all great and the beer milkshake is insanely good.

An out of the way gem. All beers on tap are tideland brews. A flight of their ipa signatures was very satisfying. The food is ON POINT! Beyond typical bar food and crossing into the southern bbq genre. The smoked meats board is a wonderful sampling of their fare. Pulled pork and wings were AMAZING! Brisket was disappointing. Too dry, so glad I didn't get brisket plate, I would've been aggregated. BUT the wings, pulled pork AND we did a pretzel, was AMAZING! Pretzel is warm, crunchy outside, soft inside and homemade mustard dip is delicious!!

I was very impressed. We came here with a large group and surprised them. They had one bartender and one chef but they were awesome. The food was excellent, the drinks were excellent, all the orders came out perfect, and the place was so clean. Definitely will recommend our friends and family. We had a really wonderful experience all around!
