If you are getting this through delivery please just go and get it... last 3 times I have ordered through delivery at this location our food has been made with little to no effort, and with very few pieces of chicken in both buff chicken wrap and white cheddar flatbread. The Buffalo chicken wrap had chipotle mayo instead of Buffalo sauce which was not asked for, and the smoothies were completely wrong.

We’ve come here several times since the new year and while we’ve always enjoyed our smoothies, we won’t be back. We were there yesterday and as we received our smoothies my daughter pointed out an active Roach (not a palmetto bug or water bug) and looked to have a sac of babies with it, crawling along the wall where the smoothies are. 8-17 is when this happened.

Went to Tropical Smoothie Cafe today 8/6 @ 2:45. Guess when it and they are closed. What's up with that? Have they switch managers? Ive noticed my last couple of visits it hasnt been the same.

I stopped here to get a blueberry smoothie . The cashier was nice and they successfully got the whole order I had for everyone correct . Clean place and fast .

My two children and I came in for lunch and my 11 yo son ordered the jalapeño corn for his side. Once they brought the food out and he opened his corn, he didn't have a fork. I told him to ask the lady for one. When he did, she said they didn't have any. I turned around and asked how he was supposed to eat his corn and she said, "Well, you can go next door to Five Guys and ask them for one." This probably ranks up there with one of the stupidest things ever happening to me at a restaurant. And, I paid .99 extra for the corn my child could not eat. Here's a tip...offer the customer their money back or offer some chips or something.

Some much yumminess one of my fave lunch spots. I got a kiwi quencher smoothie and the Buffalo chicken wrap is good every single time. They are always fast and friendly when I pop up.

While this Tropical Smoothie Cafe in Rivers offers great products like other locations, the lack of personal connection and organization in the store leaves a bad taste in my mouth. The products are usually delivered fast, but are not well made all that well at times. The store is a little cramped, and the staff doesn't usually have a welcoming tone. As a previous employee, I felt like resource rather than a part of the team. The location does offer Curbside, Online and Delivery pickup services, and wait times are 5-15 min. Covid protocols are heavily enforced and the cleanliness of the store is subpar. If you want a quick bite without much interaction, this Tropical Smoothie Cafe location will deliver. If not, I definitely recommend the Dorchester location for better service for the same products.

I've been here several times for quick visits - have to get my smoothie fix! I'm a huge fan of the Tropical Green + adds ins (fiber or energy usually). They are super quick and efficient, even when they are busy. I've never waited more than 3 minutes for my smoothie. Happy to keep visiting this location!

Tropical Smoothie Cafe is a solid smoothie choice in Charleston. I've visited this location, the one in west ash, and the one in Nexton in Summerville/Sangaree area. They are all nice, clean, with friendly service and delicious smoothies. When I visit Tropical Smoothie Cafe, I like to get a couple of things. First, I gotta get a smoothie. I like the Beach Bum smoothie. It is a strawberry banana smoothie with chocolate! You can choose between white chocolate and dark chocolate. I always choose dark! You can also add protein to any smoothie. Their options for protein are Soy, Pea, or Whey protein. I alternate between Soy and Pea protein. I can't taste the protein in my smoothies. It just helps make the smoothie more filling and better for you. I also like to grab a Peanut Butter Banana Flat Bread Crunch... I think is what it's called. It's on the breakfast menu. It is a flat bread with peanut butter, sliced bananas, honey, and granola folded up inside. It is so good, any time of day! Your kids will love it too! Smoothies are relatively cheap here. They only have one size it seems like... which is about a 20 ounce, I'd say. A smoothie by itself after tax is usually about $7. Overall, I highly recommend Tropical Smoothie Cafe! They have some good smoothies to try out, as well as that flatbread! Plus a few other things I have yet to try. How about you try those things and tell me how it is? Thanks!
Awesome staff, never had a problem here. Military discount is a huge plus for me, hope they keep it up not many chains have one still.

I received a turkey cheese wrap kids meal for my daughter, however it came with shredded cheese that was not melted at all, making a big mess. Plus, they offer absolutely no inside dining at all. I also asked for a sandwich with NO TOMATOES (I have an allergy) but they covered it with a red tomato based sauce. They also placed no napkins in the bag.

Got greeted by a guy name Joey! Who quickly helped me figure out some of his favorite options he recommends me trying. I observed how he handled money with his gloves on, and when it came to fixing the smoothie, he immediately put on new gloves! A plus, especially handling the cup, and touching the things needed to complete the smoothie. He mixed up 2 separate drinks that had the name labeled on each cup, and waited for me, and my daughter, to give it a thumbs up! He assured me that I'd like the choice, and I was happy with our choices. I really appreciate his great customer service skills, and also the knowledge of knowing how to serve a delicious smoothie!
