“I picked up pad see ew for dinner and noodles were undercooked and not the best I’ve had. The Thai tea was really good, though. The person taking care of me was pretty much annoyed or perhaps was just having a bad day. However, it was late. Maybe worth trying another time.“
“A hidden gem for Asian food enthusiasts! This place exceeded my expectations. The service was excellent, the flavors were authentic, and the prices were reasonable. The overall experience was phenomenal, and Im eager to explore more of their menu on my next “
“I’ve ordered to-go twice and both times I’ve had great experiences. My first time I had Pho Tom, it was good I just want more shrimp for the price. The day of this post I had Mi Roasted Pork Belly and again I wish I had more pork belly.“
“Our overall experience was excellent from the time was walked in until we left. Our host/server was absolutely lovely. He was able to make suggestions for our picky eaters. His suggestions worked as they ate every thing! The pad see ew was the best I've had. When we come back to town we'll definitely visit again!“
“Oh. My. Goodness. This place is off the chain. Three people. We shared veggie dumplings (wanted to drink the sauce. I ordered spicy garlic lo mein (see photo), friend 1 ordered garlic noodles with chicken, friend 2 had the KFC wings. The flavors are so complex and so good. Perfect noodle texture. Uniquely fabulous combo of the sweet-savory-slightly spicy wings and a smooth and savory blue cheese sauce. And then there's the Vietnamese Coffee. Amazing. I exclaimed about it out loud.“
“Lunch was hours and hours ago, I wanted something easy and takeaway. Bon Banh Mi appeared in my Yelp search results and so we headed here. I placed a take away order at the counter and it didn't take long before my sandwich was ready.Yes, I chose the Banh Mi sandwich with "five spice ground pork" and it was delicious. Still hot by the time I parked, it was full of meat and veggies and lots of flavor.Next time, dine in. This was yummy!Vegetarian options: Lots of options with red curry tofuParking: Nice parking lot though it could be better lit.“
“Probably the best pho Downtown, Charleston will get for the next decade. Not sure if this was intended but they know how to cater to their surrounding demographic. Without the beansprout garnishes, the broth has too much additives that needs to be diluted down to eatable levels for normies. However most of the customer base are college students and that should be palpable for them. Authentic connoisseur would atleast appreciate the availability of this dish in the area despite pricing, comparatively.“
“I found myself with lots of luggage and a short wait for an Uber in front of Bon Banh Mi on Spring St. - perfect time for a quick bowl of cold noodles with pork dumplings. I eat often at the shop on Ben Sawyer, so it was an easy decision. The food was quick, well prepared, served with great consideration and southern manners, and I didn't have to leave my little bright colored patio table on the Spring St sidewalk for one thing. A lovely little lunch in the sunshine of DT Charleston! Props to you! One more Bon Banh Mi to love in the area!!“
“I have never posted a review in my life. But I have seen negative reviews from people about very frivolous things. I just got lunch for my wife and the young lady that served me was the most professional and courteous person I have ever met. I am posting this so that the owners know how fortunate they are to have her in their business and hope they appreciate what she brings to their business. Her name is Fiona and I am glad to have met her. Thank you Fiona!“
“Ok so the place is small, 7-8 single tables. But the food is authentic & good home cooking. We had 2 bowls of pho, large size & good broth. Plenty of meats, not the most tender but good enough. Friendly service. Definitely would return for more. They have specials, not on menu.“
