First time here. Great place to listen to live music. Would have been 5 stars if the food was a little better. I ordered the blackened Mahi. My girlfriend ordered the shrimp mac-n-cheese and we got an order of peel and eat shrimp as our appetizer. The Mahi was over cooked but the rest was OK. What really made the night was the band Black Glass. These guys were awesome as was a few of the wait staff we dealt with. FREE BIRD!!! Will definitely go back next time in town.

Had a cheeseburger meal.The burger was the size of McDonald's double and got Cole slaw. The cost was 15.95. We all got a specialty drink on happy hour, which was Sex on the Beach. It was only 6 bucks during HH.After 2 large drinks,I never felt a buzz. The food and drinks suck,however the band Chocalate Chip & Co was awesome. I'll never go back,don't care who's playing

We have been coming off and on to Local on the Water since it has been open and I can honestly say that you finally have it right!!! Deb is the best manager you have ever had!! She works so hard to make sure everything runs as smoothly as possible with all the craziness that goes on!! The staff is the best they have ever been!! This place is situated in a very picturesque part of the intercoastal. That gives them a 5 star by itself. We were there with 6 people and sat at the outside bar to hear the band. Service was very good and well staffed out side. We just went for drinks. Had a very good time. Did have a small issue but the matter was taken care of for us. Overall a fun and beautiful place.

Food is great, service is slow and not very knowledgeable. For a bar on the water, they should know what an oyster shooter is and not just pretend they do them bring you the wrong thing…twice…AND charge you for their mistake.

My wife and are live music junkies and we love this place. So we come for the band and drinks, don't usually eat here. The atmosphere for music is tops with a large stage outside overlooking the inter coastal waterway and a cove with gorgeous homes and boat slips. An indoor stage serves in cooler weather. The sunsets here are fabulous with the water and palm trees as a suitable backdrop. Many come here just for these pics. This is a fun place to be entertained.
