I thought I would give this place another go. Last year in February I purchased a slice of chocolate cake. It was stale and tasted old. This year I purchased a raspberry filled cupcake and Napoleon. The cupcake had to be a week old. The cake and frosting were dried out and hard. And the taste was stale. The raspberry on top was dried out as well. The napoleon was stale as well.

Great corner spot to enjoy an amazing selection of pastries, cakes, and a complete grill menu. Rather tight on space, there's an outside table as well. We chose to sit at the 5 seat bar by the grill and chatted with the cook making of breakfast. We were challenged on our order, which was taken by the cashier, so we had to reclarify our order a few times. The discussion was a bit uneasy, so I can only recommend cultural sensitivity training, as it was apparent there were underlying issues.

I have to be Gluten Free and don't get many treats. I just tried the GF Apple Cider Donuts and they are amazing!! They understand Celiac Disease and made me feel comfortable trying their food. They were very helpful and courteous and answered all my questions.

A quaint bakery but don't try the German pastry. A wonder why it's even offered considering the quality of the other items which seemed fresh and appealing. It was stale and uneatable.

I was there at the crack of dawn to pick up bagels and cream cheese and lox with fixings to take back to beach rental. Delish! Also, a baguette for sandwiches, which was well made. Croissants are more for sandwiches, than eating plain, although I would like to try one of their ready made breakfast sandwiches if I return to N. Myrtle Beach. The cinnamon crumb cake was tasty. Scones weren't ready at 7am. Their desserts looked wonderful, but I was in the market for breakfast.
