We felt very welcome here, cozy little restaurant. The staff was very friendly and attentive, and the food was amazing. Stop by if you are passing through Olanta, SC.Also, if you like greens, they are delicious, and the banana pudding is delicious!

Country Cousins has the best barbeque I’ve ever had. It is Carolina vinegar based barbeque. Their chicken pilau and banana pudding are just as good. It is a self service buffet, but the waitress keeps your drinks filled.Country Cousins is a typical concrete block barbeque joint with lots of pig pictures. It is definitely not fancy, but we go for the delicious food, not the ambience.??

Picked up 5 pounds of Bar-B-Que for Christmas dinner and a sandwich for lunch. The sandwich was piled high and was great. The pork for dinner was just right.

It's the best BBQ, BBQ chicken, ribs, and homemade biscuits you'll find anywhere around. The staff is excellent they go above and beyond and the restaurant is always very clean.

Call in order, chicken and rice was cold no chicken at all, should have been called "rice", bbq had enough pepper that it would have filled a salt shaker, string beans cold and half cooked. Will not eat here

Drove 45 minutes, someone said you have to try it, family vib, loved that part. Selection is very slim, Hash looked interesting, no desire to try it, potato salad, and banana pudding was great, that's about it, please share your experience.

The last two times we tried to get food there they were out of BBQ. How are you even a BBQ place and don't have none. Don't you think you should cook more if you keep running out. Never seen school house bbq run out. Just saying.

If you are heading South on I 95, do not hesitate to take a slight detour, to this rustic, family run BBQ Restaurant! It is a hidden gem. The exterior of the building is not fancy, but the food is very good. The BBQ buffet had delicious homemade BBQ meats and sides! This was my first time experiencing authentic Southern BBQ cooking and it was a treat for the tastebuds. All of my questions, about what was offered on the buffet, were patiently answered by the nice lady, working at the restaurant. I walked in hungry and walked out stuffed. Need I say more? I hope this review helps another hungry traveler!

Awesome food just like what your momma serves. Not all the frills and fancies like other restaurants just the basics. Can’t get a good home cooked meal including tea for $12.00.I’m not from the area but if I was I’d eat there a lot.Good job…

It's a small buffet, but I always leave full. Very full. Just wish it was closer to home.
