BEST food I've had in town & I've tried EVERYWHERE just to be disappointed constantly! But this place- 10/10 NO complaints at all!!

No Pain No Gain

This was my first time here. I tried the shrimp and grits and for what I got, it was very pricy.... an average size bowl of grits with 5 or 6 medium-sized shrimp and gravy nothing else $17 nope, so not worth it.

It was OK. From the reviews I read I expected something totally different. The cashier was nice but was on her phone when we walked in and the tables was dirty but other than that it was OK.

What a great place to stop by for delicious breakfast! We were visiting South Carolina and had just wrapped up a tour at the local college. We were starving and wanted to eat southern comfort food. We saw Martin’s Waffles pop up and decided to check it out. At first, we had difficulty finding the location but we managed to figure it out after circling the building a few times. The location is small and offers indoor seating, it’s a family business and the family works there as well. A very clean and welcoming environment! We all ordered a variation of the French toast with either fried chicken breast or pork chop. The menu is diverse and offers you different ways of combining items. The food was very fresh and hot, well-seasoned, juicy and flavorful. TJ was very helpful with giving us recommendations and welcoming us to the restaurant, engaging in conversation with us. If we lived in South Carolina, this would definitely be one of our go-to spots!

Worth looking for, not easy to find. I love their fried chicken and their combos are the bomb. Friendly staff and plenty of tables for dining in.Parking: Only a couple of spots in front, but if the auto parts store isn't too busy you can use one of their spots.

Amazing chicken wings and the red velvet pancakes satisfied my sweet tooth. We also ordered fried shrimp and they were cooked to perfection and a great size.

Got there right at opening... not sure if they were late opening up or didn't want anyone dining in.. chairs were stacked on tables. No menu just a lot of writing on a white board. We just wanted waffles. Decent size but no flavor, nothing special about it. No butter and that artifical maple syrup. Maybe the staff could have offered suggestions. I guess the waffles were meant to be a side like fries?
