Drink didn't had had any alcohol in it or at least it didn't taste like it. The ranch dressing was watery. Wouldn't recommend.

Food was ok, no wow factor to the taste. My chips tasted not fresh the saucer seemed water down, the rice tasted old the ranch dressing was good but watery. The chicken was good but the beef brisket surprisingly I didn't care for...everybody Taste buds are different so I do suggest trying it for yourself. The Service was ok. The atmosphere was soso, I wanted to sit outside but they stated they don't serve outside ? the drink I had which was The Bob Marley didn't look like the picture but it was good 9/23.

Nice atmosphere we had to wait more than 30 minutes after being seated for anyone to come and take our orders. Wasn't too busy. Tables are on top of one another no room to walk around.

Food,to me, was a little dry. Could have used more sauce in the chimmee-changas (sp), &in the rice. The best thing was the fried ice cream. Since the ice cream ball was frozen, it lasted the whole time without getting the cinnamon bowl (which I love to eat) soggy. It could have used some fresh corn flakes added to the little bit crushed up & rolled onto the ice cream ball. For us chocolate lovers, more chocolate syrup should cover the ice cream ball, then a little of the cherry juice should pour over the chocolate ball to mix with the chocolate then soften the cinnamon bowl a little until the ice cream starts to melt. The salsa dip had the right amount of cilantro, cause it did not taste like soap. It was very good.

My sister came from VA for a visit so we decided to at El Toro. The service was slow, some of the food came out slow, cold, and my tortillas for my fajitas were hard. We told them of the issues multiple times and they fixed nothing. We continued to order drinks after our meal and they asked us to leave...with full drinks on the table. Then asked again while we were trying to finish the drinks. I've never been asked to leave a restaurant. As long as you're continuously spending money and not overly intoxicated you should be able to enjoy a night out with the company you keep. What's wrong with this place???
Our hotel posted suggestions for places to eat locally. We chose El Toro, and very glad we did! I disagree with a previous review, they served authentic delicious Mexican food. Service was friendly and very efficient. Food was served quickly and piping hot. This is a family run restaurant, and it shows. Hard workers! Great service!

Besides the very rude bartender who was the only caucasian working there and acted like a racist, everything was great! Our server Marisol was awesome but the white girl behind the bar left a bad taste in my mouth. She was very rude and cared nothing about customer service like she owns the spot. Calmly tried to speak to her about an issue and everything out her mouth was rude instead of showing understanding & providing great customer service
