This is the only truly ocean front restaurant in Pawleys Island area and you would would never know it exists. It is on the ground level of the Litchfield Inn and has seating inside and outside, directly ocean front. It is operated by the upscale Austin's restaurant which is on the second floor, also facing the ocean. The Cabana uses same kitchen and staff as Austin's, hence the unexpectedly excellent food in this casual place. Serves lunch and dinner. We had a great lunch there and it was busy. Locals know about it and guests at the Inn but you have to make an effort to find it!

Sitting outside there were flies everywhere. Took forever to be served and while waiting we were the meal for biting flies that were at every table. Finally got up and left because would have been impossible to sit through and still hadnt bern served after 15 min. When walking back to side door of hotel saw literally hundreds of the flies swarmed on the lower part of glass door. Yikes

We came down for a week and could not even get a table for 2 any time booking is only online and spent almost an hour trying different days and times to find NOTHING!!! was looking forward to at least one dinner while we were here. I even asked a staff member at the cabana cafe ( same ownership ) to look into it and they said sorry we have nothing available. So I guess if your planing a trip down here make reservations before you get here (weeks in advance) so your not disappointed as we were.

Came here with friends for a lunch. Poolside dining overlooking the Litchfield Beach. Drinks are tasty and affordable. The special Baratta Shrimp salad was beautiful and looked wonderful . Shrimp Gumbo good, needs sausage. Fresh fish and tasty. Will return!

Excellent but limited menu, very casual, full bar and great drinks. Can sit outside and watch the ocean, French dip, hot dogs, fried fish all excellent. Fairly expensive. We go here all the time, just to sit and have a drink and enjoy the beach. One of a few restaurants on the beach on the Grand Strand, none in Pawleys Island/Litchfield other than Austin’s.

This is a great spot for lunch or dinner. It's located in the Litchfield Oceanfront Inn. You can eat outside by the pool just steps from the beach or inside overlooking the pools. Service was friendly, food was good. Really enjoyed the FBLT, fried flounder, bacon , lettuce and tomato sandwich. Great relaxed beach vibe.

Came for lunch. Beautiful view, average food and good service. When I walked into the cabana bar, there were 2 people behind the bar. Sat inside for a moment, then decided to sit outside where the breeze was blowing. Waitress came over and took my order. This is a great place to get your fill of food, drinks and the ocean. Definitely didn't want to leave, but will return.

I called to make reservations two weeks prior to our anniversary dinner and specifically asked for a table by the window overlooking the ocean. When I called the day of the reservation to confirm I was told they couldn't guarantee a table by the window because they fill up fast!!? I wasn't told this when I made the "reservation ". Fortunately we got the last window table. I've owned two upscale restaurants and really don't understand why you can't put a reserved sign on a table. Second , we ordered an expensive bottle of wine. I asked to have it decanted. Nope, someone broke it last week and we don't have another! Have you heard of Amazon? Delivered in 24 hours. Third, plastic or vinyl table clothes in a high end restaurant? Linen at these prices please. Finally the food, Veal chop and filet dinners where excellent. All the sides where well prepared. It's a shame, great view and an excellent chef but the attention to fine details are lacking. Hopefully someone will read this and make the upgrades the food and atmosphere deserve.
Was treated very poorly by bar tender this afternoon. We were met with negativity from the moment we approached to order drinks. Very unfortunate as I frequent this location when at our second home. The bar tender was rude from the moment we entered bar area and she made a very awkward situation when we tried to move outside since we felt unwelcome in the bar area. Not sure what was going on, but the treatment today was a terrible experience. She made several passive aggressive comments to further emphasize that we for some reason we were not welcome.

Great view. Nice beachy atmosphere. Good service. We enjoyed our pimento grilled cheese sandwiches. Look forward to returning when we can sit outside.

Pretty much an average place. Stopped in since we had heard about it and had dinner. It should be noted that I believe they are under staffed, like many places these days. Food choices are what you would expect for a sea side cabana style setup, burgers, chicken, salad, some pasta. Not really anything special. Prices were on par for where you are, sea side. I asked about take out, one server said yes, the bartender said no. Little hard to get a table at dinner time due to the place being basiclly part of the inn.

We went here for three meals within the two days we were staying in the Inn and couldn't get reservations for Oceans One upstairs. Our first two experiences were fine, with excellent service and decent food even though the place was very busy. However, in the very same day as we had lunch, we sat and sat and sat waiting to order dinner in a half-full restaurant after being seated and handed menus. After a long wait, a young man approached us and asked if we'd ordered. When we said, no, he took my husband's beer order, but I asked for a drink list. Same young girl who seated us rudely plunked down a list a few minutes later as if I had made an unreasonable request and that was the last time we saw any wait staff. We, and several other tables of customers, ended up walking out without ordering in the 45 minutes or so we were there. I really would have rated this restaurant a "1 star" if our first two visits in the same 24 hour period weren't more positive.
