Buffet bar was terrible. Food was cold. We arrived at 4:30 and new trays of hot food started being brought out at 4:45. I ordered off the menu which took 25 minutes. When we asked about my meal she said be cool, it takes a while to make the noodles hot. Styrofoam plates and cups, plastic utensils and hot tea took ten minutes. We were the only seated customers. Never enough when I come for take out. It was a crowd waiting with us, about 12 people, the last time i went, and when they came out with the veggies, it was just 2 big spoons of each in the trays. We all left?. It's OK for one person and you need something in a hurry, but we usually go elsewhere. Need another option in Pickens.

I always avoid the buffet. Don't like food that sits at room temperature for too long. Too likely to be spoiled. Therefore we always order from the menu. Best deal is the lunchtime menu before 3:00 pm. Variety of food is good. Quality is medium. I enjoyed the Shrimp Egg Foo Yong@ $7.45 on the lunchtime menu.
