Typical "country store" restaurant with amazing food. Asparagus soup was sensational. The shrimp and grits, just wonderful. Don't miss this gem.

My husband and I had a delightful lunch today. Corn chowder was as delicious as the reviews stated, as were our BLT's. Great homey atmosphere. I don't know where they acquired all the beautiful kitchen tables and chairs from the 1950s, reminded me of eating in my Grandma's kitchen. They also had beautiful artwork displayed throughout the restaurant. Restaurant staff were all friendly and efficient. Will definitely go back next time we're in town.

Brandon Viele is an excellent chef. Juniper’s is located in the quiet town of Ridge Spring, but it’s clientele from the CSRA seek it out… epitomizing a “destination restaurant.”

My 2nd time for brunch and at $22.00 +tip per person I would have thought there would be more selections on the Self-service buffet. Our choices were grits, bacon, scrambled eggs, meatloaf, desserts, seafood gravy, fruit and a biscuit. For me the value vs cost is not there as it is just mediocre food at best. The only service is them clearing your plates and taking your money. The building is pretty dilapidated although I do see they are finally making some improvements.

Food was great! The only thing I would recommend is getting an ice maker and not putting the scoop back in the ice over and over. Food was a bit pricey but it was good!
Cute quaint restaurant. Grilled Pimento and back cheese sandwich with corn chowder soup was amazing. The staff was very helpful as well!

Can't really say this is a place I'll ever go to again! I would have went somewhere else but I was absolutely starving! I just don't see how a sandwich with a side of potato salad, a sandwich with potato chips and 2 teas is worth $40. The sandwich wasn't even that good and that's saying a lot cause everything taste better when you're starving! ?
