“Love this place! Love the people! The food and drinks are great! I do prefer ordering fresh food because the small baked pastries seem a bit too pricey for my personal budget. If I pay $5-6 for a pasty, I'd like to know that it was baked in the past several hours or is made by an authentic chef who specializes in pastries. So, for my pocket it's a bit much to order pastries there on a regular basis.I kept one star because me and my friends are there for 2-3 hours and the bathroom door lock is broken so it's really difficult to wait 3 hrs to go to the bathroom and bother other people to make sure they watch the door from the counter. I feel very uncomfortable asking for help and it's super stressful to use the restroom, knowing it's the only one available for one person alone.Please fix the door knob/lock so I can change my rating back to 5 stars!Thank you! “Visited this cute eatery today for a snack. I ordered a plain Croissant amd a decaf coffee. Sounds boring, but I was not in the mood for a full meal. As a decaf only drinker, I am used to the worst coffee when I eat at restaurants. This was the best coffee I have had, maybe ever. The server was exceptionally nice, since I must have checked three times that it was actually decaf- only because I’ve been served regular before and my heart nearly exploded ?.“
“I live across the street from Mado and would always say I'm going to stop in, well today I did and it was worth every penny spent. The pastries are so delicious. I love that it's not overly sweet but just sweet enough. Customer service is top tier. I recommend anyone looking for some really good bakery items to RUN to Mado.“
