We were so disappointed in Corks, Cooks, Books today-not in the service- our server, Eliza, was amazing! The food was fantastic as usual. I have gone here often and often bring out of town guests and I have never been disappointed. Today I brought several colleagues to celebrate a friend's upcoming wedding. We wanted something special, not on campus food. We planned to order drinks and food (and did). I brought an outside cake (w plates, forks, knife)and was told we could not have it unless we paid $25 cutting fee. Truly I understand if you are eating at a restaurant and you bring outside food and don't purchase but this was a cake- they don't sell cake. We bought food/drink- $300 worth.I unfortunately had no choice given everyone was on there. I even had to sign a waiver for them to cut a simple cheesecake that I brought. It was unfortunate, Mindy, the owner, explained the "policy"- I don't see it on website but even a nominal surcharge is appropriate- $25?? That's more than many cakes.No one else was in the restaurant except the 7 of us (outside). No exception was made. No thought was given to the customers, just this is our policy. I stayed today but I will not be back and will not recommend but they won't care. Mindy you might want to think about how you treat customers. This community is what helps ypur business thrive.

I’m a weirdo and don’t usually like live music while I’m eating and chatting, but they did have a musician when we went and the dude was killin’ it. We really enjoyed the music, food, atmosphere, service, everything. I can’t believe I waited so long to eat here but will be back really soon!

Loved : the 3-wine flights, the amazing appetizers, the unique gluten-free options on the menu, the shelves full of books, (featuring both bestsellers and more obscure titles) that add a very fun vibe to the friendly atmosphere. It's welcoming and informal. We had the bacon wrapped pork belly poppers, the spinach and cheese stuffed mushrooms and a wine flight. All so good! Everyone in there was enjoying their food. We will definitely go back, next time for a full meal.

We had a GREAT time here. We don’t know there was live entertainment at the time, but that added to the ambiance. It was pretty loud in such a small space, but the musicians were so great that it really wasn’t bothersome. The FOOD was AWESOME! Be sure to check out their “secret menu.” Will definitely return.

Very enjoyable wine and little lunch. Food was spectacular, Service was very good. Love the atmosphere my wife bought a book. Seating could use a couch and maybe a comfortable chair so you can read the book when enjoying a glass of wine.

This is by far my new favorite place to eat! We travel all the way from Clover to come here. Everything, and I mean everything, is delicious! And the portion sizes and prices are incredible! It’s rare these days you get that kind of deal. Keep up the amazing work!

Every time we come here, it's worse. We used to love this place shortly after it opened. The food quality and service has gone downhill. I've said this in a previous review and I'll say it again, when the owner isn't present, the service and food quality is bad.Today, we were served a moldy charcuterie board with molded olives and grapes. Unacceptable!They were also out of several items on the menu and some of our tried and true favorites were just not up to par. The exact same food item on their menu was 10 times better 6 months ago. Their food quality and skills of their cooks have significantly decreased. I'm sad to say, we won't be coming back, after being long-time regulars.

Great food, good service, cute atmosphere. I had the Greek tacos and my friend had the caprese flatbread. Both were delicious. You can get a flight of 2 ounce wines which was fun. No fountain drinks but you can get a small 8 ounce coke or Diet Coke. I would highly recommend this quirky gem hidden in Rock Hill.

My husband took me as a surprise (I have been wanting to go since they opened). We had a wonderful lunch talking about and looking at all the neat merchandise they have displayed. The wine & beer selection is varied so no matter your taste you will find something. The food was excellent and was served with no rush. It’s a great place to go if you don’t want to rush, see new things, and eat fabulous ones. We will definitely be back again.
