we have been to Helen’s before any experience was amazing. The food was absolutely delicious The management is wonderful ,I’m a very picky eater so it’s very hard to please me I’m extremely pleased. I had the seafood combo with potato salad and the potato salad was everything. My husband had the catfish with the beans the beans the catfish was a 10 of out of 10

Came for dinner at 615 to dine in. Waited for the food about a half hour and were asked to move our seats so they could start cleaning. They close at 8! I asked for plain wings but they were around a medium and I couldn't enjoy. My partner asked for medium and practically cried! Everything is served in to-go containers over a slice of white bread. The counter girl was busy talking to someone in the back to answer my friend's questions. Just not an enjoyable experience but if you like your mouth on fire regardless and eating out of styrofoam holders while eating in, then go ahead.

I been trying to catch this place for months.my schedule wouldn't allow it .plus they close early during the week.i had to pick up hvac supplies around 330 they close at 4 stop taking orders at 350.ingot there 351 they was nice enough to still accept my order.i got the Thursday special hot lemon pepper? tender and fries and a 8 piece hot shrimp.this to me is the best tenders I've ever had it's well seasoned and cooked perfectly.the shrimp was better than the tenders. They give you 2 slices of bread you gonna need it just to take some of the heat out your mouth.hands down this is the best chicken I've had in sc and nc
It was my first time there, having lunch with friends. It took 20 minutes for the order to come, but was well worth it. I got the chicken sandwich with hella hot(?) sauce. They asked “are you sure??”. Oh yeah. Anyway, it wasn’t just stupid hot, it was a very flavorful kinda hot. Might be too much for some, but if you can handle ghost pepper sauces, then this will be no problem for you. The fries were crispy and fresh. The owner also came to the table to check on us. So good, I wanted to come back the next day. I did wish they accepted cash, but that’s not a dealbreaker from going back.
