Ate here about 20 min ago. 10am on a sunday. Slow service and nasty food. Waitress followed us in from her smoke break outside. The food was cold, hard and had the taste of a dirty grill. Hashbrowns overcooked. A lot of the food wasn't edible. My hash tasted sour. There were only about 5 other customers in the restaurant and we waited over 30 minutes on our food. We left still hungry. It was nasty! Dont waste your time or money here.

They're closed for good. Don't go because door will be locked. I don't understand why this restaurant still has a post. We drove to this place for nothing.

Good, cheap, great portions. Just wish it felt a little more lively in there, music, something. I really don’t want to have to whisper to the person across from me without thinking I’m being heard by the entire restaurant.

First time visiting the restaurant. Omlette was brown and overcooked. Supposed to have turkey sausage in it...couldn't even find the sausage. If it was ground, it was so little I couldn't find it or taste it. Asked for extra American cheese with some cheddar. Hardly any cheese. It was take out and I added American cheese at home on top. The home fries had the skin on and were dry and tasteless. Really disappointed... Not sure if it was just a bad day, but won't be going back.

Ordered grits at 12:14 and was told it would be ready in 10 minutes , didn’t receive my order until 1:01. Absolutely unacceptable for grits that take 10 minutes. Was told they were busy with customers but there were only 4 cars in the parking lot one of which was mine and since it was pretty silent in there I can guess the other 3 were the workers

Absolutely amazing food!!!!Google has messed the hrs of operation up. They are open Wednesday thru Saturday 8:00AM until the last customer leaves usually around 9. On Sunday they are open 8-2. Worth the drive to come here. I eat here several times a week.

First time visitor deciding to try and support a breakfast place other than the normal well known venues. The host was very welcoming. Learned that the LaRocca name means, "The Rock," or "Fortress," which is very appropriate being in Rock Hill. It is a family owned and operated business and the owner just recently purchased it from his cousin. I recommend that everyone visit this restaurant if you are in, or passing by, Rock Hill, SC and try it for yourself. I will continue to patronize this business on future occasions.

We ate at this restaurant on Sunday. It wasn't busy at all but it took about 40 minutes to get our food. The waitress was very nice and kept telling us that all the food was handmade so it took longer. Most of our party got breakfast food and other than it being tough it was fine. My hoagie sandwich was terrible. The contents were burnt. The french fries were black. I complained about the sandwich when we paid and the response was that I should have said something and they would have remade it. I told her we didn't have enough time to wait another 40 minutes. I would NOT recommend this restaurant.

Just had breakfast with hubby. This one of those out of the way places that makes breakfast like your mom used to to make. Eggs cooked perfect. Homemade potatoes that are seasoned to perfection and crispy and somehow have that super addictive you want more taste. And the coffee was gooood. It is a family run affair and the service was lovely. The husband had the blt and e sandwich it was stacked high and he said it was amazing

This restaurant is not going to make it unless they open for business. Every time we have been by to try it out there is a sign on the door and they are closed for one reason or another. Last week it said "closed Wednesday and Thursday to bring you a better LaRocca"...well they still weren't on this Wednesday, one week later!

DON'T WASTE YOUR TIME!! Me and my wife decided to try this place based on the reviews, what we DID NOT know was this place changed ownership 2 months ago! It's not the same people that EARNED those good reviews! The employees act like they're all brand new and do not have a clue.....they tried to being out the appetizer we ordered AFTER the main dishes were out....our main order had to be corrected TWICE...and they don't even serve SWEET TEA!!!It was obvious most of our food had been reheated and it wasn't even edible. Then to top off this horrible experience, when we got the bill we had been up charged for 3 items that were included in the meals on the menu.I'm not overly picky at restaurants but this was just horrible. So please....only pay attention to the reviews in the past 2 months!! This place is not L&S anymore...it's LaRocca.

The restaurant had a musty smell when you entered. Our order was incorrectly made and several items did not taste good. Waitress never checked on us, we had to call her over to place our order and then she never returned after she delivered our order, not even to give us our check. We had to go up to the counter to get our check and then pay. The place had only one customer when we entered and maybe 5 others when we left. Very disappointed. Particularly when everyone who left reviews said how good it was.

Great little gem along I-77. Very relaxed atmosphere, had a extremely polite and attentive waitress, and the food was quite good. Absolutely would recommend to anyone looking for a sit down restaurant that is easy on the wallet.

Like some other reviews mentioned L&S was recently purchased. I stopped in on Friday 4/8 for dinner. Walking in I wasn't sure if they were open. Older decor but charming. Ordered Pot Roast. Food was very good. I would recommend that less gravy be used on the pot roast and mash potatoes. I would also recommend eating here. There was one server, but she handled the three occupied tables with a smile and quick service. This restaurant is a hidden gem. Stop in and say hello to the new owner.
