I was in Rock Hill today and was craving Pad Thai so decided to try this restaurant. I tried multiple times to call in my order from 11:30 to 1:30 and the phone rang busy like it was off the hook every time. So went in to place my order. I ordered steamed dumplings, Pad Thai, and Pad woon sen. The dumplings were a mess and stuck together, the Pad Thai was very dry, and Pad woon sen had no flavor and tasted like oil. Was hoping to find my new spot for Thai, but didn't.

I hate having to write this post as it makes me sad. it is the first negative review on Yelp, ever. I was at this establishment yesterday for a quick bite. I was witness to one of the most disgusting behaviors I have ever experienced. A man came in with his family only to be rudely treated due to him having a clearly identified service dog. By the general look of the man, it was clear he was a veteran (tattoo). Since when do we reject serving our disabled veterans or tell them they must sit outside. The over the top part was that he clearly and politely asked multiple times to speak to the owner. There were only a few tables thus based on their refusal I can only hope that the owner was not there. Train your staff. If this is a policy, then educate yourself and your staff. We will not be returning anytime soon.

Pretty upset with NC Noodle Bar at Cherry Rd. My nephew, wife, and daughter had gone to this restaurant many times when the previous owners were still there. We never had an issue until the new owner took over. He is am disabled veteran and has a service dog. When they entered the building, they were immediately informed that “there can be no dogs” and said, “you guys will have to leave or sit outside.” He then explained that I’m a disabled wartime veteran, and my dog was a service dog. For those who don't know. Under the law, no one can discriminate against people with disabilities and service animals. The server said it did not matter and kept making it an issue for us to have my service dog. We asked to speak to the owner to discuss the situation, and he refused to talk to us and told us that this was the only time we would be allowed to eat there with my service dog and that next time it wouldn’t be allowed. We asked again to speak with the owner to show him my paperwork for my service dog, although not required, and explain parts of the law that site this act as discrimination. The owner refused again and did not want to be professional enough to give us the courtesy of hearing out paying customers. This situation made the visit very uncomfortable, and I felt incredibly discriminated. The only reason we stayed was that our little girl wanted to stay, and we thought we should not cause a scene in front of her. But then also told us we needed to sit away from people. We are incredibly disappointed, and this is the first encounter we've experienced this level of ignorance of people with disabilities with service animals. This restaurant may have good food, but I hope they get some education on what to do when serving people with disabilities with service animals. We are beyond hurt and disappointed by this and can't believe this has happened. No one should be treated like this by any place of business.

Very disappointed. I wanted pho and ordered it from here. Huge mistake. The portion is a joke. The sides (lime, basil and mint were almost non existent. The broth doesn't have a strong flavor and my raw onions were cooked in it with a sprinkle of green onion. I had high hopes based on previous reviews but I'm this day and age I'm better off ordering the soup base of the internet and making it myself. For the price and with no meat added, that was a robbery. This is a one and done. I wouldn't recommend this place at all

It was completely empty when I arrived at 2:30 p.m. on a Wednesday. Lacee was our waitress, and she was fantastic. She was extremely helpful and accommodating. We got two Phos, one beef and one pork, both of which were delicious and came with basil, jalapeos, onions, Sriracha, and hoisin sauce. My children ordered an egg noodle bowel, which was a little thinner than Ramen noodle but not horrible. I liked the Chicken Satay, although it was a touch chewy, and I'm not a fan of fried dumping, so I'm not passing judgment on it. Please don't go above level one if you're sensitive to spice; anything more than level 1 and 2 is still wonderful but highly spicy.

I ordered the shrimp pad Thai. It was labeled spicy on the menu. It was delicious and spicy! The portion was generous. The restaurant is very nice. The staff are friendly. I will definitely be back!

Went in on a Tuesday evening around 6:45. Sat at a high top near the bar in what turns out to be the bar tenders section. Place was not too busy. 6 at the bar and two tables of two seated in the bar section. After several minutes nobody greeted us or took our drink order. The young guy that was working the host stand eventually came over and took our drink order. Shortly after that the bar tender approached us and asked if we had been helped. I told her someone had just taken or drink order. She walked away immediately even though we were clearly ready to order. She was very attentive to the group sitting at the bar. They were loud and inebriated. The guy working the host stand came back by after a few more minutes and took our order and he also dropped the food off when it was ready. I appreciate this guy stepping in and doing something that was clearly not his job. The food was fine. Nothing great. Nobody came by to check in on us again. We sat waiting on someone to bring us a check since we were ready to go. A waitress eventually noticed us waiting and I told her we were ready to check out and I handed her my credit card. A couple minutes later the bar tender returns with my card and tells us the meal was taken care of. We thanked her and left all the cash I had on me ($3) as the tip. I would not have tipped at all but felt since the meal was comped that I could at least leave a little bit for the tip. Mind you the ONLY thing our waitress (the bar tender) did for our entire visit was pour one beer. As we were driving away one of the inebriated patrons from the group at the bar aggressively ran toward us flicking us off. My guess is he was not happy about the tip. I would have gladly paid for my meal and never gone back. Now I will just never go back.

We have been regular customers of NC Noodle Bar for years, however last several times visiting food has not been the same. Once we asked for more sauce on Kung Pao and it came back watered down where it totally lost the flavor it normally has. NC Noodle House Special use to come with a spicy/sweet red sauce but no longer, it is a sweet red sauce they use for spring roll. Don't know what has happened but it will be a long time before we return, if ever.

Love the food there. Always love getting pho chicken, and my husband likes getting the noodles.

We used to eat @ the NC Noodle on Herlong and loved it. The Cherry Road location is a big disappointment. My husband and I were seated near the bar in the middle of the restaurant. The servers were way too busy flirting with the 2 gentlemen @ the bar to notice us for quite some time. The gentlemen @ the bar were dropping the "eff" bomb constantly as was the gentleman seated @ the table right next to us. My husband's order was wrong [chicken, not beef] and a gentleman who walked in at least 15 minutes after us got served first. Bathroom was unkempt. Serving staff were way below par and the food not a far cry from that. We were very disappointed and will not be returning.

It was my baby boys bday all he wanted was chicken wings and noodles both were his favorite but when I got there they gave his chicken wings away. I was mad because I came in b4 the person who they gave it to and they acted like it was no big deal. Never will I EVER COME THERE AGAIN AND SERVICE WAS AWFUL. I Waited 15 min for food that was ready for that or longer and didn't even get all I ordered!

Wife and I tried the place for the first time last weekend and both of us had a wonderful meal. The drunken noodles had a bit of a kick to them, which I love, and my wife enjoyed her beef and vegetables. Restaurant was clean, staff was attentive and food was served in a very reasonable amount of time. No complaints. Will 100% return with friends.

I order two kids Lo Mein meals to take out and was told it would be 20-25 minutes, I waited 45 minutes. When I took the food to my car I could smell the food was burnt, when I tasted a couple of the noodles they tasted so burnt they were not edible! I took them back and had to wait again for more noodles. Will never eat there again!

Service and quality have gone downhill, but prices have gone up? My pad Thai was less than half what it used to be and when I asked about it, the girl just shrugged. It was way too salty and I think I’ll go to Charlotte next time I want Thai food. It seemed like they were improving their Cherry Rd location for awhile, so idk what happened, it’s been bad again for a few months now. Hopefully they can train their cooks and fix the service issue.
