This place was trash. I ate here before going to see a movie because it was convenient. I ordered chicken and shrimp hibachi. My girlfriend ordered some kind of noodle bowl. The chicken tasted like cardboard, the vegetables were soggy, the noodle bowl was tasteless. They tried to charge me $1.00 for an extra white sauce and the total with two drinks came to like $30/40. Horrendous and extremely disappointing.

Husband and I both ordered the teriyaki chicken and our chicken was sour. We informed the worker and cook after our meal to warn them and was sure to tell them we weren't asking for a redo or a refund. And the cashier responded with "Well the last customer didn't say anything so it must be fine."

Again, I had their Katsu Dinner Special before a movie...and again, I liked the foods OK. It's not THE best Katsu in town, but for the price, not bad at all. I get that everyone is budgeting, but I still wonder why they chose to go with such cheap, flimsy disposable plates. It really cheapens the place...to the level of fast food or mall food. I just haven't seen another eatery like this serve up foods in such cheap, disposable paper/foam plates, so it just surprises me (not in a good way). Also, if they put just a little more effort in improving the ambiance (cleaner tables, overhead music, and A/C??), I feel confident that they could pull the ratings up to a 4. I like the foods enough to return again, but my initial impression stands. Truly a shame...'cuz I would have given higher ratings if they tried a bit harder? I mean, I think the foods are good enough for the price points. Also, I really like their concept of casual, cheaper, freshly made-to-order Japanese favorites. It just would be so much nicer if the place offered a cozier ambiance, friendlier service, and at the very least, the foods are served on a decent plate (well, at least a higher quality disposable plate?!?)!

I absolutely love this place! I’ve been coming here for about 2 years and have never had a bad experience or meal. Their rice is so fresh and fluffy, veggies are cooked perfectly. Everything is seasoned great. It’s always so fresh and doesn’t give you that “blah” too full feeling afterwards. They are so nice and friendly. They cook your food right on the spot and fast. If you’re a regular costumer.. they remember you and what you order, and treat you almost like family! Definitely worth checking out!

We both had the “deluxe Bento” hibachi chicken - it was so dry I barely ate any of it. The veggies were not fresh, they seemed to be from a bag of frozen veggies. The fried rice was OK. The dumplings were overcooked and had no taste. The Maki Roll was also overcooked and tasted like oil. I didn’t even try the salad. 80+ percent of my food went into the trash. The restaurant was HOT and the AC finally kicked in just before our food was ready. The bottled water was good! ????????

The food was horrible, the service was not good and the restaurant was hot…. We ordered 2 bento box Chicken hibachi- both had very dry and unflavored chicken and horrible veggies that were not fresh. The rice was just ok and was not hot. The dumplings were overcooked and tasteless, the maki rolls were gross.. they too were overcooked and tasted like cooking oil. I didn’t take a single bite of the salad. The bottled water was good. Most of my food went into the trash. One visit and I’m DONE!!!

WHAT HAPPENED????? Back in the day this spot was so good. They are super selfish with the meats in the rice. Nobody was the restaurant and we still had to come pick up our food. DONT COME HERE!!! GO SOMEWHERE ELSE!!!!
