I was really wanting to love this place but I was not impressed. My family and I went for brunch and it just fell short of all the hype. Our server did a great job but she was new, like we were her first ever table new, and when she tried to ask for help from what I assumed was the manager they were short with her and not helpful. For some simple food and not a busy place our food took a long time to get to the table and when it did part of the order was wrong, some of it was cold, and my wife's meal never go made. By the time she got her food we were nearly done with our meal. I am not sure if I will return because overall there was nothing that stood out to me that would bring me back.

This spot is a jewel in Rockhill SC, service exceptional the food was amazing. Shrimp and grits were extremely delicious. Chicken and waffles were fresh and flavorful. It's a must visit.

If you think looking at the name of the cafe that you will now drink a cup of coffee / tea and eat a delicious dessert .... then you are mistaken, you will not get either?. Coffee will be given to you like at a gas station with an extra bag of sugar and cream?. The name does not match the range?. The quesadilla was very tasty.

LOVED my first experience here!! I walked in and the smells, environment, and Employees were so welcoming! Like I got a hug. The ladies that run this place (and a very fine job they do, too. #BOSSLADIES) just makes everything better. I swear. If you're having a yuk day, walk in there, give those ladies a smile and kind word they deserve & they will rub salve on your soul while feeding you the comfort food you need. God bless you fine ladies and gentlemen of STC. All the food I got (had to get it ToGo) was very tasty, well seasoned, and fresh. Salad with crab cake. O. M. G. This was a perfect size cake on a salad that was FULL of tender, scrum-yummy crab! But The TEA. THE TEA!! I got the Pineapple Tea. It was so dang good, I was trying to slurp the last drop from the bottom of cup and sucked some down my windpipe. Coughing myself to tears, all I could think was "I gotta get some MORE of this." I think I just found my new addiction. So Ladies of STC, I'll be back ASAP. I can't wait!

Went here twice while I'll was on vacation for five days down there. The breakfast was awesome except the grits was a little to salty but rather than that the bomb. I always love that they have turkey products as well.

The owner is so nice and really goes above and beyond to make your feel welcome. While I went to school in Rock Hill I would come here often to have some salmon bites and grits and flavored sweet tea. The salmon bites are so good, I've barely tried the rest of the menu (but the other items I have tried have been good as well).

If I could give this place zero stars I would. called and told them that my food was burned and it wasn’t what I ordered they go to tell me check food before I leave is their policy. $25 for this trash do I need to come show yall how to cook cause this ain’t it I should report them to board of health for frying chicken in burned grease. This was my first time eating here. I found this Cafe by chance as I was strolling through downtown Rock Hill. I ordered the pineapple tea, beef Tacos which were delicious and sweet potato fries. Additionally, there was a kid order of chicken tenders and fries.
I tried the fish and grits. Grits were cooked perfectly. The fish was seasoned well. I love their lemonade flavors. I will go there again.

Food: Oh. My. Goodness. We could not find one thing to find wrong with the place (and my boyfriend is picky). I had the chicken and waffles with pineapple tea, and boyfriend had alfredo pasta with shrimp and strawberry lemonade. The food tasted like quality food down to the seasoning. I'm not a pasta person, and he's not a chicken person, but but we couldn't stop "mmm"-ing at our and each other's dishes. The garlic bread and sweet potato fries were also perfect, even down to the honey mustard (what we assume is made in-house?). We even insisted on saving the honey mustard for leftovers later because it didn't compare to ours at home lol Decor: VERY cute, clean, and welcoming. Not too big or small. Even the bathroom seemed clean enough to eat in... I mean I wouldn't, just making a point lol Service: I'd say mostly good. No complaints on our end. You would not be disappointed if your visit is anything like ours!

Very slow service even though we were the first ones in. Server was friendly but People really need to come in a little early and start the coffee. Biscuits tasted like 'day-old' and fell apart. Bacon was all overcooked and broken up. Grits were pasty and lukewarm. Pancakes were really good. Overall not good.

I can't say enough excellent things about this place. For simple dishes, Sweet Tea Cafe has some extremely distinct flavors. The Chicken and Waffles, I swear, are incredible. The only other restaurant that came close to this flavor was the Yolk, which unfortunately closed down. The chicken was quite tender, and the herbs and spices were amazing. Not to be forgotten is the sweet tea. The pineapple sweet tea ought to be illegal. It's just right, not too sweet, and it's made with real pineapple juice rather than a syrup equivalent. They also have a blueberry tea, which is tasty, but my favorite is the pineapple. I can't wait to return to try some of the other dishes on the menu.
