It’s the third time I’ve called, been put on hold and forgotten about. I know I should have called back after 5 minutes but that’s 5 minutes I’ll never get back. I waited to see how long they’d let the phone go as I drove to the grocery store for dinner. Y’all I’m hungry

Where do I start? By far the worst experience I've had here. We decided to eat here because we had no power or water from the storm. They were not busy in order to have to wait 20 minutes on service after being shown our table by the waitress. Our server Cody was very unpleasant and rude. The chicken wings were not cooked long enough. During our wait on service and our food. I observed Cody outside both times while outside catching some air. I have photos as proof. The manager didn't do much to resolve the issue nor apologize She was very nonchalant.

We went Sunday evening for dinner at 730. About 40 minutes after ordering we still hadn’t even gotten our appetizer. (There wasn’t but one other table in the restaurant with people and they were finished). When we asked the server she said she was sorry but “the cook walked out”. She said they were figuring it out. They finally brought the appetizer and it was still frozen. The server said she would fix it. When she came back to the table 2 mins later they had microwaved the appetizer and put it on a new plate. She said it would be a while since they were “figuring it out”. There was multiple staff walking around and just sitting and visiting with each other. We finally decided to leave after 50 minutes of waiting. When we left there was multiple staff standing outside just talking and smoking on the side of the building.

Edit - 4/15/2024 Visited at lunch and Ashley was my server. She was excellent and handled all the struggles with grace . She was the only server for the bar and entire restaurant. People actually walked out because of the wait. . Kuddos to her but shame on management for leaving her with no help. Food was good and generous options .Town tavern has consistently good food . My recent experience on a Saturday afternoon at the bar was interesting. The bartender acted constantly busy and made us feel like we had to beg for everything we needed. Asking for simple things such as a napkin , dressing and water just seemed to irritate her. After eating our yummy food without drinks we just decided to cash out and go somewhere else for our next drinks.

DoorDashed an order. TT left off an item. DoorDash “refunded” 2 dollars which is nowhere close to what it costs. I called TT to ask if I can come pick up an order of (not a high overhead) appetizer food and asked if they could double the amount for the major inconvenience. The manager Ralph said absolutely not and that it was a DoorDash problem. Without knowing the name on the order, he also insisted that the item was “definitely in the bag” when it left the store. Okay Ralph. The dasher totally stole my cheese sticks. Sure. This is not how you handle a customer complaint. At all. The opposite of everything I would in ole Ralph’s shoes. We’ve the wings here for a long time but after this experience will never order from here again. TT, please teach your managers basic skills in customer service. Would it have been that hard to throw in some extra cheese sticks and have a happy customer? I hate leaving a review like this especially with a local business, but the owners need to understand how their management handles basic communication and complaints.
