We were looking forward to checking out this restaurant during our stay at Kiawah and were sad to find it closed for repairs due to a fire earlier this year.

We had a blast. You need to sit outside because the view is pretty especially during sunset. Food was good and cocktails were yummy. Will be back!

No longer exists. They closed thier doors and building is empty of all life.

We tried to go there tonight but was told closed due to fire. Nothing else worthwhile in this marina. Tried the Mexican restaurant but too many intoxicated fisherman.

A very nice place, with outdoor seating. We had dinner and drinks here, and not disappointed with this place. The waitress was very helpful when we wanted to move inside as the sun set. Would go back when in the area.

Food is outstanding. Staff are very pleasant. We noticed they say hello to everyone. Really like the new owners who visit all customers.

My meal, the fried chicken, was awesome. Everyone else in my part thought their food was great when they got it but by the end they were extremely tired of it. It was all VERY salty. The gravy on my fried chicken was extremely salty. Service was also pretty slow.

This place is under new ownership so I hope that comes with a menu update! Cute spot. Great view. Very friendly staff. The menu hasn't changed in a while.
I've been to Lokal twice recently. Food: The lobster mac and cheese was excellent and a large portion. I've also recently had the wreckfish special which was amazing. However, the best of all have been the pink moon oysters--briny, best oysters of my life. Service: Consistently excellent. We've been on weekday nights when the restaurant isn't busy.

What a super surprise! Located in the marina grounds and overlooking the water, this place is s gem! Chef Mike prepares delicious dishes using local fresh seafood. Scallops, shrimp, flounder as well as meats, make up a generous and diverse menu. I had the shrimp and grits, a local favorite, made with a perfect roux and cheese grits. Yummy!! The scallops were delicious, the beet salad with mandarines amazing and the drinks were perfect. We didn't have room for dessert but the Baileys cheesecake I will come back for! His staff is friendly and professional and we were lucky enough to have Dara as the perfect server. Wish that I lived here so I could come ever day!
Terrible service and pretty bad food.
