First of all the place is open only two days a week. Friday and Saturday. DO NOT FOLLOW THE CLOSING HOURS. IF they run out of food before closing (they do) IF YOU WANT TO EAT, either call in the day before and reserve place your order or be there before 230pm. You may or nay not get what you want to eat (sold out) but do eat what is available (left) ribs pulled pork chicken. They have plenty of sides. DONOT skip or miss the Grits yes the grits! They are truly good. They got a good recipe and I wish they kept the house open one or two more days.Don’t expect anything fancy though it is operating from v inside an old house turned restaurant. Go early call first then go sit and eat ir take out. Go

We placed a large carry out order for a weekend of entertaining. The order taker was very helpful explaining packages and options over the phone. The food was ready when we arrived to pick it up and securely packaged. Everything was delicious. The sliced brisket was the best we've ever had.

I tried Black’s, for the first time, today. The Ribs were fall off the bone, amazing. The Brunswick Stew was just right. And, the loaded potato salad was very tasty. Friendly and very attentive service, to boot! I’m looking forward to many more dining experiences, here.

My wife and I stopped to Blacks smokehouse for lunch and it was the best wing and ribs we have ever had!!! When we venture back to south Carolina we will be back! If you are on the fence about this place try it out you will not be disappointed!!!

I moved here from ATL area in Jan 2022. I heard the BBQ was good at Black's Smokehouse but whenever I called or stopped by they were closed (sold out). Actually took me 3 months to finally get their food because I usually didn't think about dinner until I got off work after 6:30 (or had other stuff going on like having to move twice, taking care of a terminally ill pet, etc) and by then it was always too late. I finally wised up and placed my order a week ahead. Let me tell you the day I finally got my first order of BBQ pork from this place I was so happy and couldn't wait to try it. I was thinking 'I am going to be so bummed if it doesn't taste good'. Well it was wonderful! From that moment, I learned to call ahead, leave a message or order in person when I picked up my next order. It is totally worth the wait. The BBQ is moist, fresh, and flavorful. I don't even use BBQ sauce because it doesn't need it. We recently tried the burnt ends (new for me and my husband) and those are great, too. We have had them a few times and will keep buying those. I highly recommend this place. They are friendly but please don't walk in at 5pm on a Saturday and expect them to have everything. The food is fresh and when they sell out it is gone. And I can promise you I am one of the ones buying (walking in to pick up my order because I ordered it ahead). I find myself snickering at the people who walked in that obviously didn't call ahead. I saw one guy leave when all they had was wings left and he left with nothing. I thought to myself, he missed out because their wings are great, too! :) Love it!!!!!!!!!!!

They aren’t even open w except Friday and Saturday. Why can’t the update their website to be accurate on their hours. This is what Customer Service is like for them then It may not be worth the wait.

Amazing food. Worth the trip and the drive to this small place. She’s open till she sells her food. When we got there it was 3pm and she has pulled pork and ribs. The ribs were unbelievable ! So Good. Bummed we missed out on the banana pudding. If you are anywhere close to the area you have to Eat here! Wish we had this place in PA!

Best barbecue in the Upstate! Flavorful and juicy! It’s our go-to carry out for family and friends get together. Our favorite is the brisket burnt ends! But the ribs and steaks are excellent as well!

Excellent Q!! Superior service!! Friendly staff! All things are winners. I had the stack sandwich and you need to bring a friend to help eat it. Layer of pulled pork, layer of brisket, AND smoked bacon!! Smoked wings are a win, regular pulled pork sandwich is excellent, and the pork tacos. GO HERE NOW. It's off the beaten path, and worth the trip!!!

Very generous portions! Honestly, two people could eat off one plate. Great taste! Super nice people inside. Not a lot of room inside to eat, but it wasn't very busy when we got there. Feel like sometimes it might be hard to get a place to sit. Will definitely return.

Not fancy, but gooood. Limited hours and frequently sells out of certain dishes, but worth it.
