I’ve been here a few times and while service can be slow, it’s still great vibes and good food. I will say I was not impressed with the nachos my first visit, but I’m not going to let that deter me from going here. If you’re laid back, you’ll enjoy this place!

Well, no food available at 8:30pm. On Saturday night? Great live music, band was awesome. Must be assertive with staff or you will stand by for who knows how long to be asked anything. Unfortunate that the place is perfect for a good night out on the lake, but service is everything and we found none here.

Ordered a drink from the bar I watched the serve fix my drink and not one drop of alcohol was put in it. I basically paid for a pineapple juice with a splash of grenadine. This is the third time we have been here recently. We walked out twice without receiving service for at least 15 minutes. Tonight the kitchen is on hold. They have plenty of servers every time but most of them appear to not want or need money. We pay cash too. Not sure if we will be back ever again

I went to the Tiki Hut in Seneca, SC on Thursday 8/31/23 with friends. There was only one server (besides the two people behind the bar) for the entire place. No sections were closed off, so people were sitting all over the restaurant. The server forgot our drink order, we never received them. We waited an hour for our food and it was stone cold when we got it. We got tired of waiting for the server to bring us our check, so I went to the cashier at the bar to pay. She said that there were margaritas on our check and I had to explain we never got the drinks. I told her we waited for an hour and that our food was cold. She shrugged her shoulders and didn't offer to compensate any amount. I also suggested that since there was only one server that they either close a section or two, or help run the food out so it didn't get cold. She again just shrugged her shoulders. It's a shame that this is the service there because it is lakeside, and has a great view. The food might be good, I don't really know. I won't go back.

Very disappointing experience overall. The beautiful view could not make up for the terrible service. First off, there was a sign at the entrance that said wait for hostess to be seated.... So of course we stood at front table ... for 10 minuets in the sun ... until a waitress passing by finally said "it's seat yourself". Once we made it to our table we waited over 40 minutes just to receive our waters. As far as food goes-the pretzel bite appetizer was way over cooked and tasted like dry rubber (and the other app we ordered never arrived). The rest of the meal was just low quality and some of our order was not even correct. If you're looking to spend money on dinner just simply go someplace else. This place was overpriced for the quantity and quality of food, and had the worst service I think I've ever had.

Went there this evening... well we tried to eat but we're refused food service at 8:19 when they close at 9. I said "don't you all close and 9?" She then hesitated and said "oh well the bar does." Was excited to enjoy a quick dinner on the lake but was highly disappointed.

My experience was horrible on June 25th I witnessed a bartender by the name of Ian with long hair being vocally racist towards these Hispanic woman which was truly uncalled for. When one of the ladies confronted him he seemed unbothered. Manager was onsite and nothing was done about the situation. Manager and employee need to be dealt with accordingly!! I do not recommend if the atmosphere is like this. They need serious change in employment!

I never leave bad reviews. But this was our first and last time at the Keowee Marina tiki hut. We are members of the marina and decided to try it today.It started off well… We were seated and greeted promptly, however the husband of a lady Danielle who works there was sitting at the bar and was very rude, loud and obnoxious. He talked so loud I could not hear the person sitting across from me. He was interrupting other customers seated at the bar and trying to “sell” his new business to everyone near him.We would have liked to stay and have a few more drinks, but instead are quickly and left.
Went here last night and was so disappointed. As soon as we arrived the hostess immediately said she hoped it rained so she could leave early. Yikes. The coconut shrimp basket was awful. All the breading fell off the shrimp because it was drenched a sticky sauce. We didn't finish it because it was so poorly thought out. The cocktails should be actual tiki drinks instead of variations of grenadine, vodka and orange juice. I asked for a typical tiki drink (pain killer) and got a screwdriver instead. Just need to improve their menu. The ambiance was fine. Our waitress was fine, she comped our drink and even got us an umbrella when it rained. Just need to tell the kitchen to tighten up and work on the drink selection. Won't be returning or recommending.

Our trip started with a sort of disgruntled host greeting other than that everything was overshadowed by that, the food is better than the lighthouse and far cheaper, for boat access food this is #1 I recommend the nachos and pretzel bites. Our server Megan was absolutely phenomenal with on top of everything. With frequent refills, being friendly and amazing service. Best server I have ever had. She even recognized us and remembered our drinks just after coming once earlier that week.Good food, excellent service, good environment. Skylar and Ian are awesomeI love this place. It’s a cool laid back bar and a fun place to be. I like to get Nutty here!!! Live music most of the time on Friday Saturday and Sunday. Food is good. I usually get wings. Hush puppies are very good as well. The best part is the outdoor lake atmosphere and the staff. Everyone is always kind , friendly and giving their all. It can get rather busy here sometimes, so be patient with them. They are busting their tails. Special shout out to Skylar and Ian.
