Burger Restaurants near Shaw Air Force Base

“I haven't been a fan of Burger King for years. Typically, the quality of their burgers has dropped significantly. Not so with this location on Shaw AFB. The Burger King is located in the BX Food Court and it looks like just about every other Burger King. It's a little loud around lunchtime but there are plenty of tables around to enjoy your meal. The lady behind the counter took my order and it was ready in about five minutes or so. She was rushed but still friendly. When I sat down and opened the wrapper on my Whopper with Cheese, I was pleasantly surprised. Finally, a Burger King burger that actually looks good. It was actually how a Whopper tasted back in the 70s and 80s. The patty had that nice flame broiled taste and was actually hot. The lettuce was crisp, and the tomatoes were fresh. The fries were hot and crisp outside and fluffy on the inside. Definitely a good burger. I noticed all of the low rated reviews. Don't pay any attention to those. Just a bunch of whiny, spoiled airmen who were too lazy to get their asses out of their cars and walk inside to pick up their meal.“

“The food was amazing. The service was very bad..Mary T, was our server. We was a party of 5 adults and one child. We finally got to order our drinks and off she went, about 15 minutes later we got our drinks and before she could rush off again we ordered our appetizers. About 10 minutes later she was cleaning off a table,I flagged her down to ask about appetizers and we order our main meals at that time..5 minutes before our main meals came out we got appetizers, I asked for ranch for dipping....I finally got the ranch with the ticket,that we also had to ask for,we were sharing drinks at the table, cause she wouldn't come check on us.This place is a beautiful restaurant and has amazing food,but the server left a bad taste in my mouth..Parking: Lots of parking ,even busesKid-friendliness: Kid menus“

“My wife and I just moved to the Sumter area several months ago and drove past several times and we finally stopped to grab a bite for dinner! Am I glad we did! The food was awesome and the service was even better!! A must try if you're in the Sumter area!!“

“So far this place is great! They haven't been open long....so in Sumter, you give it time to see if the place will stay nice and clean. People are nasty and lazy anymore.....Anyway, food is good! Service has been good! The burgers remind me of Five Guys. The plus to me is they have more options than Five Guys and I love Habit's onion rings! Let's hope this place stays on top!“

“Initially the service was bad because the gentleman taking the order was rude & unfriendly, but the manager on duty (Brandon)came out personally to correct the bad experience. My family and I come to this Sonic frequently and the customer service is usually friendly.
