Literally comes down to how much the workers get payed and how much they actually care for their job, some do, some dont. Some days you might get amazing service, others you might get terrible service.
i got food poisoning. cookies were not fresh and it tasted expired. i spent 30 minutes in the bathroom at work and i almost threw up when i got home. 0/100000000 DONT RECOMMEND!!! unless you love your toilet.

I placed an order ((a week in advance)) for a custom cookie cake. I arrived at the requested time and date to a place that was under staffed and to a cake that wasn’t made. While waiting for the cake to be made ((well over 30 minutes past my pickup time)), four other customers came in and NONE of their pre-orders were filled either. It’s poor management to have an establishment understaffed during the holiday season!

This store does not accept cash. Please offer to take cash as it is not inclusive of homeless people and emigrants, it embraces governmental control and some people just want to pay cash!

Cookies not fresh. Ordered 10 (+3 free). All were very old. Never had this issue at other locations. Even my 4 year old did not eat his chocolate chip.

I have gone to Great American Cookie stores for over 20 years and always loved their products but this location is horrible and only gets worse. Stopped going there about a year ago because the cookies were never fresh. Decided to give them another try and it was worse than ever. The cookies and brownies I bought were stale and at least a couple days old. Hate leaving a bad review for a small business but there is no excuse when they sell products that are outright stale when there whole business model is based on fresh baked cookies.

This location is obviously under new management. The management is rude, the “cake decorators” did an awful job replicating a design from their own book on my daughter’s $60 cake and the staff act like you are doing them a favor by taking an order. I guess we will be ordering our cookie cakes from grocery stores in the future.

Great cookies! Last visit I left after waiting at cookie counter and not being acknowledged while both associates worked on an order for a large family group. As I left, I saw other customers walk out too.

The cookie cake was decorated beautifully and everyone was really nice and helpful.
I really do NOT like leaving negative comments however, I feel like I need to make others aware! Today, a coworker placed an order at 6:40am for an 11:30 pick up. I showed up at 11:25ish and they were very discombobulated and said they just “pulled the cookie” which ended up not being the size or shape ordered. They said it would be another 15 minutes. So I walked around the shopping center..when I returned around 20 minutes later….it was another 5 minutes which turned into another 10 minutes. When FINALLY getting the cookie I asked how they would compensate us for the mix-up, they offered a free cookie. Not good customer service, not even an apology for the mix-up …NOTHING!!! Just a suggestion…if you order from this business I would call ahead instead of wasting time sitting there for 30-35 minutes waiting. I will not be back to this business!!

Woodruff Road Location - Don’t be fooled by tipping. All tips go to the owners and not the employees. They force credit card payments and credit card tipping and do not distribute tips to the employees. We’ve asked multiple employees now. Completely wrong to steal from these young people and fool the patrons.

New owers at woodruff rd store are awful! They leave the cookies out for days and sell them full price when they are old. Awful change of ownership. Products use to be fresh now they are old and left out for days.
