Visiting Greenville and I found this Puerto Rican restaurant. I went yesterday but they are closed. Open Thursday to Sunday only so I went back today. Of course, I ordered the pernil con arroz y gandulees, maduros, con una colita champán y una pastelito de guayaba. The food is not bad. The pastel de guayaba was great. My only issue is I always compare el arroz y gandulees with my mom’s and sorry, no one beats moms home made ones. But these were good. I forgot to add. Had this to go. Service was fast and only one couple eating while there and another order to go, so we got the food fast.

Oh man, it is real deal ?? food! My wife and I lived in the USVI for many years and would take trips to Puerto Rico to shop. The mofongo is as good as any we had in island. Definitely start with an empanada, we had chicken and it needed to accompaniment. The Tres Leches was the best since we have had since moving back stateside. The place is tiny and the will run out of food, so get there early. Don't mind the party in the kitchen. It what makes the food so delicious! We will be back often.

Nothing better than Puerto Rican food, I felt at home!!!
I gave five stars because I couldn’t give more. The food was excellent! Authentic and cooked fresh while we waited. The owner and is wife were very nice and personable. I had a beef empanada, chicken empanada, pernil, yellow rice and beans, and sweet plantains. If you’re looking for something different this is the place to go. I haven’t had anything like it in the United States. Highly recommended!

Best authentic Puerto Rican food I’ve ever had besides in actual PR. When you drive up it’s a hole in the wall but do don’t let that intimidate you. Delicious food and the owners are kind. The food is made to order so call ahead if you are in a rush or get take-out.

The mofongo was hayer and it made me sick, the empanada was basically basic, they didn't let you eat inside and it took more than 45 minutes.
