The closest my husband (Mexican) and I have found to authentic Mexican food. Love their tamales. Bought pork tamales at Christmas and they were yummy. This week my husband bought a few spicy, okay, the masa was excellent, but don't think we will buy again until they make pork.

If you want authentic Mexican food then this is the place to go! Had their tacos, Sopes, horchata, and Concha and it was absolutely the best we have had outside of Mexico.Lived in Arizona for 7 years and this was even better than the taco places there (and there are a lot of good taco places in AZ).We got it to go so can’t speak for the dine in but there are tables and things as well with plenty of room to eat there. If you want real Mexican food this will be your go to place!

Food is delicious and authentic, atmosphere is quiet and family oriented. The girl at the front desk always makes me feel welcome and always checks for extra things even if they don't have it.

After reading recommendations about this place, my spouse and I finally had some time to visit it, and it didn’t disappoint. It is a mexican panaderia, which serves classic conchas, among other baked goodies. But our main reason for us to be there were the authentic tacos. They are legit good! Soft tortilla, juicy meat portions, and at a decent price.I had also tried the egg and chorizo torta but it wasn’t my favorite. However, I highly recommend this place if you are looking for legit mexican tacos.

Really good customer service. The menu is hard to understand but it could very well be because it’s a Mexican restaurant. Almost everything is in Spanish. I kinda like it to be honest it’s very cultural. I’ve never been to Mexico but I’d imagine this is what it would be like there. I’m still unsure how to order though hopefully my food doesn’t come out really plain ?

My family and I at at Panaderia La Estrella for the first time on a recent visit to Greenville. We had tacos, burrito, and quesadilla and all of it was fresh and amazing, especially the succulent and delicious lengua and cabeza tacos. Also highly recommend their al pastor tacos and horchata too! The service was super friendly and efficient. The dining room is very nice and comfortable and there is plenty of free parking. They also have some delicious looking bakery items that we want to try next time! Highly recommend!!
