Wonderful place in Summerville! Our server was very delightful! The atmosphere is relaxing and inviting. We had the Jalepeno Brat and Fish and Chips with the Rosemary Fries. The food was all delicious!

I enjoyed my visit. That being said the ONLY negative thing I noticed merely because of my certifications knowledge and experience was that our servers didn't have their hair tied back sufficiently. Ponytails with tendrils, are not conducive to standard food safe serving. But we are in SC, so I don't know what the actual regulations are?I'll still be back, I just think this should be addressed...Dewey

Been there 3 different times and ordered differently each, to give it a fair shake. Have had 3, 5 star experiences each time. Have added this place to the Summerville “rotation” for go-to spots. Lorri and Serena have been fantastic! See them!

I quite like the ambience of the place. Very cozy, and optimised for conversation. A place you might want to spend some time. Agreeable service. They seem to have struck the right balance between attentiveness and being overbearing. Friendly, but not overly familiar. To me at least, that's just right. I have mixed feelings about the food. Firstly, it seems to be generally of high quality. I've tried the fish and chips - it was a generous portion of fish cooked well, and also a French dip sandwich. The beef was very tender and the au jus was really nice. My main issue is with the chips / fries. First, they are closer to the shoestring variety than to the thicker cut of chip that typically comes with fish. But I take real umbrage at the rosemary. It's got a strong flavour that overwhelms all the others, but they seem to put it in all their chips. Yuck! The insistence on the rosemary is so off-putting that I question how much I'll visit in future. Certainly not never, but not as much as I would otherwise have. Fresh air is nice but on one occasion, they had a large outside door open for the entire meal on a chilly, windy day and I froze my arse off through the entire meal. It did spoil it a bit. If they come off their rosemary crusade, I would happily up my review to four or five stars.

This was my daughter and I’s first time here! We didn’t know what to expect, but we loved the atmosphere! Maggie was very informative of the menu, and her suggestions were great! I would recommend you try Lowcountry Public House at least once! You will not be disappointed! Will be back on what to try next!

Was an excellent spot to get dinner. Decent amount of beer, wine and cocktail choices. Excellent dinner specials. Had the fried pickles appetizer and I loved it. Very speedy service. Will definitely be going

We had lunch outside on the deck. The fried chicken sandwich and fish tacos were delicious. I had a pineapple margarita which was also good. Our server was very nice and did a fantastic job. We ventured inside to the restroom and noticed people were seated there as well. There is a lawn in the back off of the deck with tables and chairs where you can sit and drink while listening to music ( but there were no performers during our lunch). The restaurant opened recently in September 2023 so everything is still fresh and clean. Overall this was a great casual place for lunch.

Came in on a Wednesday and we ordered Brussels and Mac and cheese as sides for our entrees. the chicken sandwich was dried out almost burnt, the fried fish was pretty soggy. brussels were still a little hard still but the mac and cheese was good according to my girlfriend. I will give them this, the service was pretty good.

This is a must visit! The cutest design with a sunken fireplace area to relax and enjoy a drink. The people are friendly and the food is delicious! I can't wait to visit again!

Restaurant is nice inside and servers are good. My problem was I ordered a fried chicken dinner and didn't get a chicken breast, got a leg, thigh and wing. No one told me this and I only eat white meat so basically I had a wing for my meal. Not a good plan. At least let customers know about the short cut.

This was our first time here. I had the fish and chips, but got onion rings instead of fries. The cod was very good, and the onion rings were great. My wife got the fried chicken sandwich and fries. The chicken was overcooked and dry, the fries were fine. There are quite a few things on the menu I'd like to try, so we will come back at some point. That being said, I thought the prices were just a little high even though the portions are generous. Our lunch, including 1 beer each, was over $50 before tipping.
