Absolutely love this bar and especially Going for brunch. Definitely my favorite bar in Summerville! If there was one thing I would change about Monts is having music during brunch. Brunch is always a good time but live music would make it so much better!

One of the longest bars that I have been to!It has 3 sections: the front bar, the middle club, and a huge outside area at the back. I think it fits a lot of people so it’s great to hang out on Friday/ Saturday night there if you live in Summerville or around because lots of very different people go there! We went there for St. Patrick's Day and the place was crowded! They have security which was very nice because one gentleman there got arrested right in front of us for being too drunk and loud trying to get back to the bar.The service was overloaded so they made lots of mistakes: no napkins, messed up the order, long refills, no more drinks that we’d like to order but I guess it was short-staffed and busier than usual so makes sense. The food is great! Tasty cocktails as well. Pricing is reasonable. Also the free public parking is right across the place. Overall, recommend if you live around.

I can't believe we just discovered Montreux. The atmosphere was great, lots of character, great bar, high ceilings. My wife and I would like to try sitting outside next time. The outdoor dining area looked very inviting. The drink selection is excellent. Lots of local brews, along with a nice selection of wine and cocktails. The beer flight was very generous for $7 and a great way to try some new beers. The braised chicken entre was very tasty and only $14 at dinner! If you love fish tacos, they have the best we've ever tried (we share food to try more tastes). You can mix and match the tacos ranging from around $3 for chicken to $5 for shrimp. The fish tacos were spicy blackened (tilapia?) and had a spices sriracha mayo that really set them apart.Just to be complete, our waitress, Madison, was very personable and professional. We never waited long for anything, and she was very knowledgeable about the menu. Can't wait to go back!

We celebrated my husband's 50th birthday tonight at Montreaux. There were around 20 of us. Lex was so accommodating, and put tables together for us. The staff was very attentive to our needs and Aleasha was the BEST server. She was always there, very organized, and kind. It was the perfect evening out on their patio!

Had an awesome time on St. Pat's day with excellent food, fantastic service and a lot of really good drinks. We played pool for a bit and once the dance floor opened up it was a lot of fun.

We’ve been going to Montreux for years and go pretty often. Met my fiancé who passed away there so made some great memories there. However, this last time was a total disappointment. We stopped by for their St. Pattys celebration and the female bartender at the outside bar (taller, light skin, black long hair) was rude and lacked customer service. A total B towards us. She basically told us to go somewhere else to get a drink when we called her out on having a bad attitude. We proceeded to ask for the manager who came out with a bouncer wannabe. The manager didn’t care while the bouncer- like dude acted like a total a-hole too, asking us to leave. My friend asked to finish her drink she had just bought and he took right out of her hand. It was appalling. Don’t play bartender if you don’t like being around people or can’t work a large crowd. Don’t be a manager if you don’t know how to handle a customer’s complaint and learn how to manage your people. The intimidation tactic that the frail bouncer used towards 3 females and a kid was so sorry. Treat people with respect, especially your paying customers who are there to have a good time.

Montreux Bar & Grille (MBG) is casual fun hangout with friendly people and live music. The Shrimp n Grits was very good. The one man band Kyle Herring had a great sound - somehow pulling off the acoustic guitar and bass at the same time - playing 1970s and 1980s cover songs. MBG also has cornhole and a ping pong table outside. MBG is fun, with all kinds of folks & ages hanging out, in a big fun outdoor courtyard & bar.

Owner and management treated us with attitude and disrespect for others actions not of our own. Which I feel highly unfair when we were celebrating a friends bday. I understand someone one did something not appropriate which I was nowhere near but one person should not be treated disrespectfully bc of some other actions. But management Trey was really rude and disrespectful to us when we did absolutely nothing wrong uncaring with the way he treated us. Then owners sitting in the corner making up there own gossip while we walk by thinking we didn’t hear them. This place is a joke!! Do not recommend.! Do not come here to celebrate an inspiring women’s bday!! Never will come here again!

$26 for a burger is outrageous. It wasn’t even that good! All I had on it was cheese and bacon.
