We had an amazing first experience at this restaurant. We ordered wings and the Margarita pizza. Our waitress told us to return on Sundays and we could get all you could eat pizza and wings. That is what we did. We arrived and ordered wings and the same pizza. The manager told our waitress he’d be charging us for our second pizza. I was confused since it was “all you can eat” — I had no issue with the waitress, but the manager just lost repeat customers by not standing by his menu. There were no exclusions to the all you can eat special, but he decided to make some up for our visit. He never did come out and talk with us. He just communicated through his waitress. We had to refill all drinks and ask for boxes, etc. We won’t be returning. It was a frustrating experience.

I have been going every Thursday for months. I always have incredible service! Great food. They have been able to provide gluten free crust and I'm very happy about that. The staff, especially Brandon, have always made my visits wonderful. I get a drink right away, cutlery, napkins, food comes quickly too! I am checked on often for refills. The seating is clean. And the environment is comfortable. I will continue to come here.Thank you!

Stopped in after a long day at the ball field. The GM of the place was incredibly kind and welcoming. Really good food, really good atmosphere. Great service. Will be back if we are in the area again!!

Pizza is some of my favorite in the area. Service is pretty terrible. On several occasions I’ve had issues. The very first one was a delivered burnt pizza, called the store for the manager and someone said he’d call back but never did. Today, I tried to order online but it was down. Called the store, first time went to a voicemail box, second time guy answered. I asked how much for a large pizza he said he couldn’t tell me because he’s the only one there and in the middle of 4 orders. I asked if I could place an order and he said “as I said, I’m the only one here so….I only answered the phone because you called twice”. I understand being short staffed but I would’ve been fine to wait on hold and wait awhile for my order to be ready. Overall very underwhelmed by the customer service I’ve received from this establishment despite actually liking the pizza when it’s not burnt

Stopped here a month ago specifically to get a clam pizza. Unfortunately, they were out of clams. Had to settle for an Italian sausage and bacon pizza instead. It was very good but not what I craved.Last week, I called and yes they had clams. Ordered takeout. Delicious thin crust, white pizza with clams and bacon. The supper thin, well browned crust is definitely New Haven (CT) style. Think NYC pizza but thinner. Hence the name of the establishment. My gf who had never had clam pizza before, truly enjoyed it.Both times I was there, I was surprised at the lack of customers. Give the place a try you won't be disappointed.

close but no cigar.... Having been to new haven and experienced the top places there... modern...sally's appiz and frank Pepe's I was hoping for the best especially since there was a clam pizza ... pepe's clam pie has been named best pizza in America many times ... Unfortunately my expectations were not met. Let's start with the crust very close to the Texture of a New Havin Pizza lack a little depth and flavor though perhaps A touch more salt in the dough Would help it out. It was cooked it was thin and it was crisp which are all good things. Now the most disappointing part is advertised as fresh clams minced unfortunately I watch the guy behind the bar open up a Can of minced clams...The pizza cost me just under $30 and I would be willing to pay that if they were fresh clams unfortunately they weren't as far as Loakal Pizza goes it was pretty good I'll give it a 3 1/2 star rating

Being from Connecticut we were very excited to see a New Haven style pizza here in the Low Country. As you can guess from the one star rating, it failed on all accounts. One, it took over an hour to get our pizza. Two, they made it wrong. Three, we drove 45 minutes to get there. Four, $30.00 for a pile of garbage. And five, the worst of it all, it was a soggy, tasteless pile of mush. Do they even know what New Haven pizza is??????? Horrible experience and a POOR excuse for New Haven pizza. Dave (El Prez) don't bother stopping here if your ever in town, it's a 2.4 at best.

We love Wicked Crust! Some of our favorites are Baked & Loaded, The Big Jack and The CBR. Always hot and delicious. The staff is very friendly as well. Highly recommend! ?

Ordered a big Jack large about 30 bucks. Has to be hands-down the worst pizza. For the money the toppings were sparse. And the crust was ridiculously chewy to the point where it felt like you were trying to eat cardboard. Went here as a recommendation from a friend. I think I need to find new friends. I give two stars only because the employee to check me out was a nice guy and very friendly. It's a shame the food wasn't as good.

Was not impressed with the pizza or the wings...tbh, the store felt like a front. Just not a good experience and not worth going back, even for the all you can eat pizza and wings.

Menu doesn’t match the product. Ordered a great white missing the fresh arugula if you are paying high end prices you should get what you order. Would be nice if they communicate changes or missing ingredients at time of order. Just saying for the price very disappointing probably won’t return.

Was really looking forward to this pizza. The toppings scarce at best with only a couple red onion and very unevenly distributed ingredients. That was the best part. The crust virtually inedible. Burnt, and hard to even chew for a thin crust (I guess that’s what it was suppose to be). We also got the hot wings. The skin was chewy, and old tasting. We had to add our own sauce. I never ever leave bad comments on establishments. But not even the free 14” cheese pizza that was part of Thurs special (called, and spoke to owner, John to make sure we indeed got this with our delivery. So I at least thought this would be fresh), and the cheese was so over cooked it was like glue on top of the pizza. The crust burnt as well. So disappointed, and not cheap in the least. I’ve been sick, and finally had an appetite. Terribly disappointing. ?

so disappointed wenting for a nice meal with my family and experience was awful watch the waiter fix my sweet tea and used his bare hands after digging in his nose or pick up the lemon and put it in the cup ask for the manager and he came over there and said it's just two of them try to use that as an excuse on why he use his bare hands to pick up the lemon which he claimed to be the GM and was extremely rude never will I return to this place just awful service and awful management.

As a lifelong CT guy and now a Carolina transplant, this pizza was amazing. As advertised, New Haven style and it is. Great crust too, oven cooked crisp. This pizza was what I needed. It is pricey, this is a small 12 inch, but feels like a large. You get your moneys worth. Try it, you wont be disappointed, than tell all your friends and family and everyone they know.
