It’s a repeat of disrespect and awful customer service from employees, Bridgette and Abby! They act like they don’t want to serve food to you any kind of way, have attitude all the time, and now it’s a joke when I wanted to order food and nooone was inside to take order because they have to be outside leaving other employees to carry the busy load. It was so funny when I said nooone was inside to take my order. All of the girls thought it was so funny! They have got to do better. They make you feel like your money is not green like other customers!!!

Awful experience today that no one was inside to take my order! Young lady in the drive through was busy handing the busy drive through. I stood at the counter for about 7min. waiting. Manager stood outside laughing and talking when I passed her going inside and when I came out her and her friends thought it was funny because I left without any food! If you don’t want to work, give the job to someone who does.

Waited 30 minutes for food that was unacceptable, called and was told to come back the next day. I came back and was greeted with a attitude. 1110 W Liberty St Sumter

Good food and good service are hard to find and that is certainly true here! Y'all know I have to tell the truth and here's what happened. I dined in and I ordered the 3-piece Pollard Dinner w/fried Okra and Broccoli. Kelli (if that's her name) brought with her someone's food and one major attitude to my table. In a very loud and condescending voice and as mean and as nasty as she could ask, "Who's order is this?" looking at me. I said I ordered fish, Pollard. She replies, "We don't sell that"! WHAAAT?!!! Then I asked what kind of fish she had in which she replied, "Flounder". I told her I did not order Flounder. Then the people at the table she bypassed on her way to me claimed their food. WOW!Hang in there...it gets better. When she finally did bring my order I asked her what kind of fish she was giving me she replied Pollard! WHAAAT!!! the Funky Monkey?!!! I could see and hear that Kelli was already in a high and agitated state so I just accepted the cold Broccoli, greasy fish, and great tasting fried Okra. Needless to say, I ate the Okra and took the rest to go.Don't waste your time or money here. The food is not worth your money and you certainly don't want to waste your time being disrespected, under appreciated and not being treated with plain common courtesy just for being a customer. The photos below are the actual Flounder and Pollard Dinners, and yes, that's actually Kelli. What's that black stuff on my Broccoli? Yuck!!!

I don’t do reviews but when I come in and see this lady working so hard and so much, I just knew I had to. She has cancer!! She has cancer and she’s still working as much as she can. She deserves the best and she’s so great and amazing! Raise raise raise!!

I use to enjoy captain d's. I ordered 4 dinners and they were bad. 1 tsp of coleslaw . The fish wasn't done. I spent 1/2 hour in the bathroom. Threw it all away. Oh the Mac and cheese was very thick and cold. Terrible. Will NEVER go

The food isn't what it once was. Even the condiment station is no longer working and replaced by packages of condiments that are not continuously

I’m new to South Carolina!I saw this spot a couple of times while traveling in the area.I decided I would give this place a try.My home is Maryland so I’m use to good seafood. This place wasn’t it for my taste buds.I’ll keep looking, but won’t be going back here. The sweet tea taste old.Parking: The parking was excellent

Captain D's food quality has been going down in the recent years just as their prices have been going up. At the time of this review a moderate sized two-person meal will usually cost around $30. The food's not bad but in my opinion a full-on seafood restaurant is the better option.
