“Better than expected. I gotta say if you’re eating a meal at a bakery you are a little skeptical but boy did that mindset change in a hurry. I enjoyed the chicken sandwich dipped in hot sauce and it was delish. My mama had shrimp and grits and she couldn’t finish all of hers due to the large lunch portion at $10.99 so being the good son I finished it for her…. It was as good as any I’ve had in Charleston and I was completely blown away, spectacular. Don’t let the name fool you, their food is outstanding and I can’t wait to go back!“
“This little place is such a gem! Especially if you're one to go to the location on Alice Drive where it's much busier.I love that this location features a bagel sandwich, something that the location in Alice Drive doesn't have (listed on the menu) and something you don't see often down south. The sweets and smoothies are always good as well. The inside is as cozy as you could ask for in a cafe. Its convenient should you want to do some reading/remote work.And the staff are always really nice! Their service there is always some of the best I've received here in my short time here in Sumter.The only thing that bums me about this place is that they don't open on the weekend.“

“Occasionally drop in here with my old friends Windell Rodgers and Phil Richardson whenever I am back home visiting, and it is one of the best Saturday afternoon bars around. There is always an eclectic cast of characters with lots of stories and escapades from the past, present, and future. Half the cast would just as soon have fought you as drink with you thirty years ago, but now everything his copacetic with all. Great owner, great wait staff, and above all, great stories from anyone sitting beside you at the bar.“
