Personally a big fan of Thai and Chai and this shop sure does have plenty of it in so many options whether hot, iced, frozen, with boba or a smoothie they’ve got it. They also have ice cream. They’ve got great treats. Plenty of culture and quality within the store. Great staff, decent prices. They do offer a military discount. In my time in Sumter I visited what seemed like every other day. Also they have a cream cheese foam they can put on top of anything and it’s just beyond sweet and delicious. Not found everywhere. Super clean and up to date.

Edit: legit gave this place 5 stars, however, today Dec 2nd 2023 I went to go get my tea. I sat at the window for about 15 mins there was a girl who legit was standing off to the side talking to someone. She made eye contact with me and everything and then turned her back.. now it’s been a few since I came here so maybe that’s the new policy or something but like… she legit looked at me.. if they weren’t taking orders or something I wish she would have said something. Now ik what you’re thinking. You’re probably thinking I got there late… no it was 5:30pm I sat there till about 5:48 because I really wanted that tea.. again it’s not like she didn’t know I was here she legit looked at me. I was shook, they are usually nice. I just drove off. It’s sad I really liked this place. Like why wouldn’t you just open the window or have a note or something saying you can’t take orders because that’s the only reason I can think of her not even coming to the window. Even then!! I’m so confused.. I really like this place.. I don’t want to have to find a new place but that really kind of made me upset.Original review:Best place hands down! I always get the butterfly pea tea!

I have gotten the Boba milk tea from several other places before, but this tea barely had any flavor, and way to many boba and I ordered 2 large because they had such high ratings. And I was severely disappointed ? I will not go

The manager was a really friendly lady who helped us out when we had questions. The boba is also good, I’d say it’s the best boba spot in Sumter. The atmosphere is really friendly, if you decide to sit down they have little games you can play and cool trinkets you can buy.

I rate this place soo low because the Boba is horrible it is soo watered down u can't even taste it.... every time I go I hope it will get better but there Boba is watered down, and there large is a small so not worth it and the tapioca balls are hard eveytime, only thing that is good that I enjoy is that have the best rolled ice cream.

Save your money on the boba. Even if u get it fresh, it has no flavor and is very watered down. Even if I ask them with no ice, it still has a watery down taste to it. The large is small, don't waste your money, the only thing that was good there was the rolled ice cream.... the ambiance on the inside is very pretty, I love the wall art and how u can play games it very pretty.

The owner of the store is so sweet we have met her a few times. But she isn’t there her employees behind the counter have horrible customer service! The two females looked mad, no one spoke when we came into the store. We didn’t even order our usual. We just got something small for our child and we didn’t want to spend our money where we don’t feel welcomed.

Been coming to Sumter for appointments over the last year and often come by for a bubble tea. Saw the rolled ice cream and thought how neat it would be to bring my young children and husband back for the experience. We finally made it for that purpose today! We got two rolled ice creams to share (the kids are young enough that this works still). We enjoyed watching the process but one of the ladies making one of them only managed to roll the ice cream tight enough to fit 4 rolls in the container while the other fit 5. They both measured out what they were using. I asked about what would be done with all the leftovers from the first one and she said they they throw it away. I asked if she could just give it to us (it was end of the day and just us present.) She said, “I could, but…” and then proceeds to walk it to the trashcan and throw it away. Considering that the second one made had 5 rolls and no leftovers I definitely feel as though they tossed 20% of what we paid for. Not to mention they knew we were planning to share with the kids. The only reason I wouldn’t leave a lower rating for this incident is that I know it may not be a reflection of the owner and I support small businesses!

First time trying ThaiTea and I ordered their signature thai tea, it was very delicious! The only downside of the drink was the actual boba. The quality of the boba is mediocre and it constantly gets stuck in the straw, making it difficult to sip. Customer service was a 10/10 (:

Favorite place in Sumter! Menu is huge and I have loved everything I have gotten. The wait it half the fun if you dine in. They have several games on the tables. Great for kids!

First time having Boba tea. We got the pineapple Boba tea with tapioca pearls. Pearls were very chewy. I'm not used to having to chew my drink. My daughter got the Mango Boba tea with Mango pearls and we definitely liked those pearls better. The macarons were tasty as was the coconut Moon cake. It was very pricey though at almost $15 a person. We were the only ones in the restaurant and absolutely no greeting or anything from the staff. We'll just drive to Columbia next time.
