“Went in on Saturday and was immediately greeted by the wonderful bartender Brianna. I recognized her from a previous visit and same delightful attitude. I remembered her as well for the delicious Moscow Mule she had made. I’ve been here 4-5 times and each time has been worth the effort. Burgers are excellent. Chicken tenders are humongous and can’t eat all . Barbecue chicken nachos literally the best I’ve ever had the pleasure of eating. They have karaoke and trivia nights. I highly recommend this establishment to visitors and locals you will not be disappointed.“
“If you're a Kansas City fan this is the place to go that people are nice and very welcoming. It was my first time there and people were sitting at the table saying hello to me as I walked by. I guess I did look like a new person. But it was wonderful. The bartender was great. Highly.“
“Didn't eat, so I can't really speak to the food quality. This is a classic neighborhood bar with a strong following among the retired and local community. Lots of regulars and folks who know each other from the bar. Laid back, mellow, not overpriced, friendly. Nice contrast to the touristy places.“
“We had the most delightful and charasmatic server, Dave B. from Detroit. He was so funny and was more than accomodating and had such a great personality. He truly gave us a great experience! I would go back to request him ANY time. He kept the drinks flowing and the service from other staff was fast. The She Crab soup was devine, with lots of crab! Surely did not dissapoint. Do not miss the croissants! Or Dave B!“
“A great place for a cold one.the price is right and the beer is cold The bartender was friendly and kept them coming. Can’t think of a better way to support local business which is important .remember if you have a problem there the problem is you“
“Came in randomly. Got some tequila and buffalo garlic wings, and fries. Wings are fried and tossed. The wings were delicious. Tender and juicy. The fries were smacking. I don't like everyone's fries, but this place got it right. I would definitely come “
“Fun, locals bar in Surfside with good food, fair prices, and friendly vibes. Parking could be problematic during the peak season. There's a couple lines of 2 hour parking spots. We came in on Christmas Day and they were slammed! It was a really fun and laid back environment with lots of patrons. The bar is huge, tons of tables and a really nice patio area. Our waitress(es) were nice but not over the top, they were really busy! Good and quick service though, especially for drinks. I had a Bloody Mary and it was good! Particularly for the price ($6!). I also ordered the Reuben. The menu self proclaims it as the best on the beach, I can't necessarily confirm nor deny but it was a solid sandwich with great flavor. I also really liked their tater tots, they were more like medallions or the hash browns at Chick-fil-A, but loved them! Other items ordered at the table: Black & Bleu burger and Grilled Cheese. All tasty. I'll definitely be back to hang out here! If you're in the area, you should do the same!“
“I must say that I am impressed with Bubba’s. The service was spot-on, friendly and attentive. We both had the First Mate platter and you choose two items from the list. I had the blackened grouper and fried oysters, my wife had the blackened mahi mahi and fried shrimp.Having spent many years in Florida I’ve come to know good grouper and this one didn’t disappoint. It had the perfect amount of “heat” and the fried oysters were delicious. The mahi mahi was a bit over cooked and dried out, hence the 4 star rating for food. It was just a bit over baked. The shrimp were lightly coated in flour and seasoned perfectly. I was expecting them to come out with a thick coating like pop corn shrimp typically have but these were coated nicely and seasoned perfectly. We both had cups of clam chowder. I was expecting a small cup and when the waitress came out with the soup, it was in large bowls and nice portion sizes. The clam chowder was wonderful. There is free parking in the front lot so don’t pay for parking.Overall we were very pleased with the food even though the mahi mahi was very dry.“
“They weren't serving food when we were there, so we had chips and bevs, and loved this place. It had the best close up view of the ocean than any place we went - right on the other side of the window where we were sitting. As customers came in many seemed to know each other and they were friendly to all us newcomers! The bartender, Aime, was the greatest...very personable, attentive...over the top Plus she makes great bevs...my favorite being the margarita with her concoction with a dash of sprite - not too sour, not too sweet, and the smoothest ever! It's without a doubt the most perfect, best margarita I've ever had. And, in our 70 years of life, we've had zillions of different margaritas. So next time you're anywhere within driving distance, check out Scotty's Beach Bar, kick back, relax, and enjoy! Tell Aime that we sent you?“
“Been coming here for a few years and love the food as well as the staff. The waitress take care of you and staff assist in anything you want. Lona and Tayla work hard and I always show my appreciation when tipping them out. After looking at the last review, I have to say if your going to go out to dinner be prepared to tip accordingly when you receive great service and dont lie because your cheap.“
“Food was awesome, I’m gluten free and my family isn’t. Their food they said was great, my food was very good. I split the mussels and baked “ziti” with my husband. They offer a gluten free noodle which was slightly undercooked but the mussels were definitely some of the best I’ve had in a while. We had to ask multiple times for a gluten free bread/oil, but once we got them it was pretty good for gf. Small venue but great food, especially if you’re not in a hurry.Dietary restrictions: They offer a mostly gluten free menu, with a few items that cannot be made gf. You have to ask multiple times, but once you get it- it’s pretty good.“
