We were really lucky this was open when we stopped. Three of us had different variations of their special today and it was just fantastic. It felt like we ate a Thanksgiving meal. Everything tasted homemade. Very fresh.

My husband had a bacon, egg, cheese lettuce, and tomato sandwich, and I had a sausage and cheese omelet with potatoes. Both were absolutely delicious. My omelet was completely full with small chunks of sausage and melted cheese. It was one of the best omelets I have had in a very long time. My husband loved his sandwich as well. Now let's talk about the potatoes, sooo delicious! Nice and crispy on the outside and moist on the inside, and the seasoning is perfection! The best part of the meal was chatting with the owner. He is funny and very nice. He treats you like family. He made the whole experience even more pleasurable! The restaurant is adjacent to a gas station with simple decor. You place your order at the counter, and someone , in our case, the owner, brings it out to you. You buss your own table, or at least you should. You also serve yourself with coffee, utensils, and condiments. Don't let this be an issue. You are getting amazing food at an amazing price! Enjoy the experience!

For starters, do not ask a customer “why is that person so mad” and then loudly go in the kitchen and say “could you imagine being angry all day.” You’re lucky that person stayed seated for running your mouth. 2nd off, our potato bites were burnt and hard as a rock, you couldn’t even stick a fork in them. 3rd, no gravy with the dry biscuits. The food taste like they pre cook most of it and use it till it’s all gone. Wasn’t worth $20, and will never be returning.

I understand why the parking lot is empty more than full.

Food was hot and delicious. Staff was very friendly. Owner made rounds to check on customers and made sure the food was good. Will definitely be back!!

We ate dinner one night. The people were friendly and helpful. The food was great. They are not open all day every day, so check the times before you go. We will definitely return to get more of their food. We really enjoyed the food we ordered.

Nice ma and pop shop. Very hidden. It's attached next to a gas station! I got the meat and three. It was good. I liked the chili dog better. I would definitely come back and try something else. Owner was nice and welcoming.

I was pleasantly surprised by how much we all loved this restaurant! It is in a very unassuming location - sharing a building with a gas station, but the food, the ambiance, and staff were all delightful. It is family owned and operated, and the owner was the one who took our order and served us. I ordered the hamburger steak with onions and mushrooms and it was SO GOOD. The fried okra was also some of the best I've ever had. Sweet potato crunch - 10/10, red skinned potatoes - oh yeah! mac and cheese - delicious, green beans - yes, please! I didn't eat anything that I didn't like. Be sure to check the hours before you go, as they are somewhat limited, but definitely worth the visit! We will be back again soon!
