The food has always been delicious. It's family friendly and the service is very good. Didn't take very long to get even though they were busy. Very impressive!!

Poor service. Plus their kid usually takes the orders and gets them wrong, then they don't take responsibility to fix it. Ends up being the customer's problem. Food not really that good: too sweet, over-cooked meats, small portions, and too liquidy. Prices too high. Overall not a great experience. Not worth the irritation, headache, or cost.

Highly disappointing! The meat was over-cooked/dry. And the portions have been drastically cut down but prices have been raised. IF a restaurant is going to do that, the service & food need to be good enough to warrant such a bold change, and Tokyo isn't there. The sesame chicken was SO SWEET, like sickenly sweet; plus the plate had SO much liquid in it (almost more liquid than meat) that it wasted in the bag all over the other food we ordered, making a big sticky MESS. (*See the attached photo.) They cheated one of our plates out of a side, and the others barely had any meat. On top of all of that, they let their kid/young child take orders (both in-person & call-in/over the phone) and he always messes it up! Even when myself AND others have complained (I've personally watched others complain too), they STILL let him, so they must like losing business I guess. Plus he likes to joke/prank/play around TOO much. Like...people just want to pay for their food & go. We don't come in for tricks & games, irritation, and annoyance. Going to this place is no longer enjoyable in any way, which is why we now give our business to China 1. It's still local & China 1 provides good service, better prices, bigger portions, AND better tasting food. Should've switched long ago. Don't eat at Tokyo! Save yourself a headache.*And restaurant owner, no need to reply with a "God bless you" or any other response like I see you've done most of the other reviews. Just get it together!Vegetarian options: You can request to have all mixed steamed veggies as a plate for an upchargeParking: It's not a big parking lot, and it's shared with other businesses, but it usually works out okayWheelchair accessibility: Doesn't look to be easily wheelchair accessible

These last few times we've eaten at this restaurant it's been quite bad. The owners oftentimes put their young child behind the counter to help, and EVERY time he does, our order is wrong. He is a child, and so he acts as such and has no place behind the counter of what's supposed to be an upstanding business. He takes orders down wrong (especially if you order over the phone) & he always wants to play jokes on the customers when you come in to get your food & he takes it too far! It's irritating, chaotic, and time consuming when it doesn't have to be. The adults/owners shouldn't even allow this to happen, yet they continue to do so even though I've witnessed other patrons complain about him too! In addition to this child behind the counter being problematic, they've also greatly cut down their portions & significantly raised prices. I know a lot of places nowadays are doing so, but the way in which they've done it makes it almost no longer worth it to order from them. Also, the sesame chicken was over-cooked, wayyy too sweet, and there was more juice/liquid in the styrofoam container (and spilled alllll in the bottom of the bag) than actual food. (See attached picture.) Tokyo Restaurant in Union has gotten sloppy, careless, & highly unprofessional. The next day when we were still wanting some good Japanese/Chinese style food (because Tokyo just didn't cut it), we ended up getting food from another restaurant in town (China 1 in the parking lot where Bi-Lo used to be, where KJ Market currently is) and that OTHER restaurant's food AND service were good. We'll JUST SKIP TOKYO from now on, and you should save yourself the headache too.

Rice & shrimp sauce was the only thing good. The chicken was very dry and plain.Edit to add: I did not order wings. The plain dry chicken was supposed to be your hibachi chicken. I do not recommend it to anyone ?

Best sushi!!! Food is more expensive than any other place in union but it’s good for the most part. My orders have never been wrong.

They have the best wings in town

Nothing fancy but delicious. Spicy tuna roll with on the spot. Spicy chicken great and not overpowering hot. Order at the counter and then sit down and enjoy. Our waiter just turned 12 and he was the best. He was proud when we complimented him. He said he prepared the rice. You will enjoy.

Great place, we go for sushi the only feedback I would give is sushi temperature seemed to be a bit above cold last time we went.

The ? wings and ? Sushi were delicious. Great customer service. I don't like the brand of ranch or blue cheese they provide. They taste like cheap imitations
