The property is gorgeous, the wine is great but the staff not so much. Our group of 6 booked a 12:30 to 1:30 wine tasting. The wines were great but we felt extremely rushed.In addition to feeling rushed we were told to leave as the staff member stated "I need you leave" at 1:32. The staff member stated there was another group coming. Our group was only two minutes past the "time slot". I felt this was inappropriate. I also felt as though there are much better ways of excusing a group of guests, perhaps by inviting them to sit on the porch, walk the vineyards or visit Ida Claire.Management or staff should spread the wine tastings further apart or relay the message to guests in a nicer demeanor.Additionally, the staff member was uninformed as to the pre-payment. The staff member informed the primary guest in front of the entire group that only 5 people were paid for to drink. However, I checked my receipt and this is not the case. I informed this staff member of her error.I will buy the wine as it was delicious but I will not do a private tasting again.

Always a fun and chill experience here! I attended the valentines chocolate and wine pairing event and it was both delicious and spectacular. Our host, Michael, was very friendly and knowledgeable. I love the atmosphere and the super friendly staff!

I have not visited the vineyard yet, but the commercial made me want to try the wine. I found it at my local Total Wine and it was good. There were some crystals at the bottom of the cork but other than that I enjoyed it. Shop local!

We had a great time doing a tasting on Saturday! All the staff were friendly and welcoming. Jon made our experience so much fun and was flexible with our group of 7. We did not have much time to enjoy the beautiful outdoors area or live music but will certainly return in Spring to enjoy more of the vineyard!

We had a lovely drive out to the Vineyard. It was a bit further than we expected but the drive was quite enjoyable. The staff were both knowledgable and welcoming. We enjoyed walking around the property and visiting the hobby farm animals. We were appreciative of the dog friendly environment. Pup also enjoyed the attention. The wine was very good and the flight was reasonably priced as was the tasting. Our server, Joannie, did a great job, and certainly convinced us to leave with several bottles.

DWV is located on the beautiful, rural island of Wadmalaw. They have vendors and a food truck. The wine tasting was the best. I highly recommend DWV. You can also buy the bottles of wine. Its family and pet friendly. Oops, almost forgot that they had a guitarist. 5 stars.

We came out to check out the Vineyard and were pleasantly surprised to find the Bears Bluff Meadery MEAD-ival Festival happening! I haven't ever tried mead, but I loved it. All of the staff were so pleasant and the vineyard is beautiful as well!
