Almond Cupcake

“A week after our wedding, I’m still thinking about our cake. Not a slice was leftover even though we had more than plenty for our crowd. We ordered a butter pecan vanilla cake with the most amazing vanilla buttercream. It was moist and rich and reminded me of something my Granny used to make. Layered with butter pecan filling, this cake was amazing and so delicious.Jolene created a beautiful floral design our guests complimented all evening. The prices are affordable and the rotating daily cupcakes made choosing flavors easy and fun.Easiest part of wedding planning was working with Jolene and Buttercream Dreams ❤️“

“Miss Jan is the bomb! She is easy to communicate with and replies in a timely manner. I gave her a vision, and she created just that! This was my first time ever getting a customized cake, and she exceeded my expectations. Holidays are coming up and I know exactly who to call? Thank you Miss Jan!“

Birthday Cake

“I purchased an assorted box of cake bites. I specifically asked the person behind the counter to include her favorites, the banana pudding and the salted caramel, because I always want to know what the people who work at a bakery eat. I would have been satisfied with a whole box of banana pudding! Wow, was it good. Each pastry costs $2.50, $3, or $6 more or less, and the box was a good deal. They're sweet, but not so sweet they overwhelm you. There's a great distinction of flavor from cake to cake and they're all winners. If I come back to West Columbia, SC, this is a definite stop!“

Riveras Supermercado Bakery •
1618 Airport Blvd, West Columbia

“Preface- i am moving here from an area with many mexican markets. Today i was on a quest for the best mercado in the area. My main mission was to find guerrero brand tortillas. Review- this store is very clean and the staff is friendly and helpful. The produce is fresh and the prices are average. The meat looked fresh. They sell fresh corn tortillas and corn chips. I did not see the price of the corn tortillas but the fresh tortilla chips were $6 so i will just make my own and will not be trying these. I did not see any fresh salsa or guacamole, nor do they have a deli. They do sell fresh chicharrones. They sell fresh juices. The store has a small selection. They did not have fresh flour tortillas, but they do sell Guerrero Caseras, which are specifically the flour tortillas i was hoping to find and have not found at any other stores in the area. If you are hoping to find a supermercado similar to ones on the west coast, this is not one, however this one had the best produce and tortilla selection i have found in this area so far.“
