I went to the Friendly Catering to Go, owned by Carolina Concessions, in the CAE airport, and the staff there was not so friendly. The employee that served me was rude and gave me in his own words, "What's minimally required to give."I ordered pork ribs with two sides for $14. What I got was 2 dry and greasy ribs, a single scoop of cabbage mush, and 2 spoonfulls of very bland Mac.10/10 would never recommend. You are better off getting something from BBQ Pit in the airport. They at least fill the To-Go container with good food for much less.

I found that the company had opened a new restaurant on the land side of the airport. I had to try it. The BBQ was great and the service was awesome. I had a drink or two before leaving. 10/10 will done againWheelchair accessibility: There's a very wide opening so tables that are the perfect height

I was in South Carolina for little more than 12 hours and was eager to eat some southern BBQ. The BBQ pit at the Columbia Airport was my only real option. Fortunately I was not disappointed! The BBQ and the fried chicken were both very good. The collered greens were also tasty. The roll was a bit of a disappointment. All in all pretty good airport food.

Best advise as some have said here on TripAdvisor is to eat before you get to the airport. Very small food court with limited options. Don’t normally rate airport restaurants but hopefully this helps someone to eat before they get to the airport.

The meat was ok, but the bun was cold, old, and not soft. I was going to get coleslaw, but I refused to pay more than $2.25 for a tablespoon of coleslaw. Very sad excuse for a restaurant. I won't eat there again.
