“Service and atmosphere really don't apply here. This is a business that started as a food truck, so you come here for the food. Pupusas are made to order. Mine took a while, but in their defense, they had just opened. Also, they were worth the wait. I had 3, which was a good amount of food and it was only $12, including Horchata (also delicious). They have lots of protein choices. For the more adventurous, they have beef head (I'm assuming mostly cheek), beef tongue, and tripe. They also have a nice selection of baked goods and some donuts that looked good.“
“Just FINALLY stopped after years of saying I would....I'm a little upset that I waited years to try this food ! Very good and the portion sizes are huge ! ? the half chicken was juicy and marinated well and the tacos are awesome. Hot sauce is very good as well. Will definitely be “
“This is by far one of the best authentic Mexican places for tacos burritos and they even have Salvadorian and pupusas .. they are awesome with their salsas . But be ready some of them could be hot… everything is made fresh and on the spot refried beans and rice are phenomenal it’s almost like you’re back in Michoacan…. I would highly recommend this little food truck with inside seating that’s air condition that’s a little treasure in Augusta rd …The owner Angie is excellent, it’s a family run affair that’s been doing it for about 3 to 4 years now, please give him a chance you will never forget it…Or regret it“
“The food was delicious, the staff was welcoming and friendly. It is a food truck but has a patio with tables, seating, lights, and music. The only limitation is the menu, but I guess that is to be expected. They hand you a beeper so you can wait in your car if you want. The weather was cooler today, so sitting outside listening to the music was enjoyable.“
“For my last pregnancy, my cravings were carne asada street tacos and i tried many different trucks up and down Augusta Rd... There are other good ones, yes, but THIS truck had me coming back for more! We ordered 30 one time for a get together and every taco was excelente ??? Highly recommend ?“
“I try to stop in whenever in the neighborhood for lunch Great food, authentic, good portions, covered dining area with clean tables & service with a smile... I'm a taco addict and try them just about everywhere I go and Don Julio's has some of the better steak tacos in the area. SRV“
“The owner was very friendly and the ice cream was amazing. We tried banana split and birthday cake. The ice cream is unique and will definitely cure a sweet craving. They also had some delicious looking sorbet and unique flavors of kettle corn. We will surely be coming back the next time we want a sweet treat. I can't think of any place better in the area.“
“I was finally able to catch this place! They were off Bull Street one day for lunch. I went a little bit before lunch was over, so I expected a lot to be out. However, it wasn't bad. Customer service was good, and the gentleman and lady that were working the truck were very nice and straightforward. So their lunch menu is different from their dinner menu. I ordered the pork plate, ribs, baked beans, and fries. That plate also came with my choice of barbecue sauce. I don't know where to start. The beans maybe? They were so delicious! The ribs were on point. The pork was tasty too. It accompanied the barbecue sauce very well. The fries were standard. I can't wait to catch them for dinner, either in Irmo or Blythewood, to try their macaroni and cheese and to reunite with those beans.“

“Delicious food, helpful and kind service. Several options of meats, sides, and sauces. I am celiac and dairy free and had no issues with the meats (sausage is not dairy free) or sauces—just ask they were helpful to answer me what I could and shouldn’t get. (They label the sauces as “vegan/vegetarian” and “gluten free” on the menu which is helpful.) There are limited hours and long lines so don’t expect to be sitting right away, but the assembly line does go quick, they work hard and it shows! 5/5 stars from me and my husband!Vegetarian options: Sides and saucesDietary restrictions: Gluten free options, dairy free options“
