Food is what you expect from a Mexican restaurant in this area. I grew up in Southern Cali and if you expect to find that taste in the South good luck. The flavors are good and the price and alcohol is good too. I personally will not drink margarita mix, as I only prefer fresh lime and fresh orange juice in my margaritas. But overall La Fogata is a good place to eat in my opinion
Went here 2 nights ago just before closing. Ordered fajitas and omg when I tell you they were delicious. I’m from Texas and used to TexMex..this is the closest I’ve found. I will return!

My wife and I went there to eat today, 3/12/24 for the THIRD time and we think it's the best Mexican food in SC! Everything, as they say in SC is "TEW DAH FER!" (Translation: To Die For!) But seriously, not gonna bore you here, we drive from Irmo just to go eat here and we must pass at least 10-20 other Mexican places. You gotta try this place at least once! You'll be back!!
