Another great dinner last night with my co worker when we got off work. Love the food!! The pickle aioli rules!! Had the mash potatoes with gravy with my chicken nuggets and it was delicious. Highly recommend!!

Decided to visit Palate because of the high reviews. The staff were friendly and service was great...the food, however, was lackluster. The menu consists of mostly deep fried appetizers. Chicken nuggets (with sauces on the side) are the main attraction. The chicken nuggets, creamy Mac & Cheese, and Philly Cheesesteak egg rolls were average at best. Overrated bar fare in my opinion. If you are a foodie, Palate will not meet your expectations.

Cute little restaurant! Staff was very nice over the phone and during checkout. I ordered the Pork Belly Buns (8/10) Philly Cheesesteaks Egg-rolls (8/10) & strawberry cheese cake biscuit (9/10) Overall it was a great experience!

The food was excellent. It’s a bit quirky how they serve it in containers but I like quirky. You can’t beat the taste and quality of food. One of the owners was standing in for the normal bartender and she made a great lemon drop martini. Try the pickle aioli !! It was delicious with the nuggets. I can’t wait to go back again.

Palate maybe small but, they have absolutely amazing food, and outstanding customer service. The restaurant is very nice, clean and modern.Although I enjoyed all my food, some of my favorites included; the Mac and Cheese, Nuggets with Garlic Pamesean, the Philly Cheese Steak Eggrolls and the Waffle Fries.They also offer catering services. Go check them out. You will not be disappointed. ( they are very COVID safe).

I have literally have passed by this place for over a year and I am disgusted that i haven't eaten here sooner ! 1. I'm not a big macaroni and cheese fan or wasn't until I ate here. 2 Chicken nuggets aren't basic anymore! If you are looking for something new ,fresh and tasty, with amazing customer service you have to stop by!

We had a great meal and can’t wait to go back again! This chef-owned restaurant is a little gem in Columbia. Every bite shows off mad chef talent. Fave sauce was Parmesan Truffle. Loved the cheesesteak egg rolls and cheese fries. And the strawberry biscuits dessert was soooo yummy! So glad we found out about this place!
Thanks for a delicious meal of ALL the things and excellent, friendly service. My “senior” folks don’t venture out to new places all that often and Palate was a hit with them both!

The staff were wonderful. Everyone was very friendly. The wait for food was a wee bit long but once you have the food you'll not even notice. The Mashed potatoes were a Revalation and The Mac and Cheese was a religious experience.Everything was perfect.10 out 10.Just try it and See.

From the first time I walked in, I felt very welcomed. Great atmosphere, friendly people and even better food and drinks. I would definitely recommend this hidden gem on State St. in West Columbia.
