“My family and I are out of towners we were on a college tour weekend. We were late getting into Columbia and wanted a good dinner. The reviews led us to Mr. Friendly's. It was a Saturday night, and we had no reservations, but were there late and so there was a table available. The experience started with the helpful woman at valet. She was so friendly and accommodating. She recommended the fried green tomatoes, which were great. The appetizers and mains were excellent, but the sides of creamy grits and greens were the best I've had. They also had a great beer and wine selection and excellent pricing. Definitely a satisfying experience, and I would go back again anytime.“
“Came for our 8th wedding anniversary and the food was delicious, service was great, appreciated the valet parking, and the great atmosphere. The serving size for the salmon was a little on the small side but the pasta dish was phenomenal. I loved that they gave us champagne to toast our 8 years ?“
“My biggest complaint with this place is they don't have any real dishes and they don't have any real silverware. I just do not like to eat with a plastic fork on pieces of paper. So I probably will only go rarely. I think if I gotta take out it would be cold and unpleasant when I got to my destination. The menu has attractive options and they have first class employees perhaps the best I've seen in Lexington at similar restaurants.“
“The lady you have working the drive thru window 4/21 around 10 am is always SO PLEASANT everytime I come. It’s hard to not smile when she talks to you even just to ask your order. She shows up to work everyday I come by with a smile and eager to serve customers. Wanted to make sure her bosses saw that it doesn’t go unnoticed“
“Love love love!! There isn't a lot to say about this wonderful restaurant that hasn't already been said. The service was spectacular, the menu was excellent, prices weren't bad, and the food was stellar. The different salt and pepper shakers at every table set a cute aesthetic feeling, making the place feel homely. Everything there felt homemade, and nothing was giving defrosted. Even the pesto pasta felt homey. Can't wait to go back!!“
