Went there to support a black owned business but it took about 30-40 minutes to get our food, then they don't tell you that drinks are a part of the dinner meal, she got a little rude when we asked about it, our plastic silverware was dirty. The chicken was not fresh it tasted like refrigerated chicken that they just re fried it was almost burnt, cornbread didn't taste like or look like cornbread, the gravy for didnt have a flavor just tasted like pepper, only good thing was mac and cheese. I feel as though the price should have been lower for what we got, I don't think I'll eat there again.

OMG I got the seafood bag it was amazing. It was full with potatoes, shrimp, eggs, corn, sausage and crab legs. Everything was seasoned very good with just enough heat. Then I got an amazing carrot cake that was so good moist reminded me of my grandmother's cake.The cafe is so cozy and very inviting with great and quick service. I had a pickup order and it was cooked fresh and ready for the time I scheduled.Thank you for making my birthday meal special will definitely be back.

My daughter and son-in-law told me about this place. I tasted a piece of the homemade carrot ? cake and almost cried ? it tasted just like my moms homemade carrot cake. And the seafood bag was awesome. I will be going there again. I think I found my weekend spot to eat.

While visiting friends as we were traveling through the midlands area, our go to chinese restaurant was not allowing dine-in seating. We read a few reviews here, although old, we decided to eat here. Be prepared to pay before you're seated. The cost for my spouse and I came to $34 something, which included a drink. I thought seafood, steak or something good was on the buffet bar. How disappointed we were when we saw it only had the standard chinese dishes. We opt for water. The food was sub-par. Things that were supposed to be hard/crunchy was soft and vice versa. There were only three flavored kind of sushi rolls....that's all. The food wasn't all that good. For the price and the quality of good it's definitely not worth it. I'd been happy getting McDonalds and would have saved a lot of money. Next time we go out with our friends I'm picking the place.

We ordered through DoorDash and were completely disappointed. They were apparently out of several of the side items, a soup, and a desert. What we did get was not good and they gave us weird substitutions so we ended up paying for things we didn't order or want. The bagels were super hard, like it took serious effort to rip one in half. We wanted to try 2 flavored cream cheeses but got 2 plain instead. The egg salad had pickles in it, the chicken salad had egg in it, and the potato salad was flavorless. The panani was really hard and dry and the chicken tasted like cheap Subway meat. Even the potato soup and fruit were barely meh. Oh and the 'club' sandwich didn't have middle bread, so basically nothing was what we expected. Maybe they are better in person but I don't recommended trying to get delivery, who knows what you'll end up with.

They were locked up and dark after they took my online order AND charged my credit card. If I could give them a zero, I would. I had also called earlier in the week to make sure they were open and to double-check their hours.

I ordered online. The order and charge to my credit card went through. They gave me a pickup time. When I arrived, they were locked up and dark and no one was in sight anywhere. I had just called them two days before to verify their hours, as they have conflicting times posted on-line. My order pickup time was long before the closing time I was given over the phone. I am now trying to get my money back since the restaurant allowed the charge to go through knowing full well they would not be filling my order. Terrible business practices and totally untrustworthy to set up on-line ordering when you aren't even open. I would give them a zero, if that was an option.
