Very old-school, cozy bar with a medieval lodge theme. Known for their "Around the World" special. Drink 14(?) beers from different countries in a night and get a free t-shirt. I have never done it, but some of my friends have multiple times. They are also known for their "backpackers"... a fruity drink made of vodka, orange juice, 7-UP, and flavoring sold in pitchers. Jim's does not care about your review, and that's what makes them great. If you wanna look at weird, medieval decor, if you like your drinks strong, and if you're looking for the best shot of hearing Led Zeppelin played, Jim's is your kinda place. The inside is a bit tight, and the bathrooms are tiny, but there's a fire out back and a couple of dart boards to keep you entertained. It's an SDSU student's rite of passage to finish off their own pitcher of Backpacker.

Jim's Tap is super old-school, but you're going to love it. It's got the craziest medieval decorations and dark furniture; you feel like you're walking into a bar in the Middle Ages. It's awesome, though - great patio, great drinks!
