“Wonderful people, food, and vibes. I haven't been here in a while because my schedule doesn't line up with the hours but I think about it like weekly ? I miss my sausage breakfast burrito!”
“Love this place! The food was delicious and the owners are incredibly nice. It’s a husband and wife duo running the place and they put a lot of love into the food. We asked for recommendations on what to order and loved everything we got.”
“I really like the food a service. I personally work in the restaurant industry and I can say it was nice. Small thing my server check in on me which I think super big. The food came put fast and tasted good.”
“I have to give the biggest shout out to Pauly's Pizzeria & Sub Co.! Brian, the owner, took a huge part of his day to personally call me regarding a question I had emailed. He not only address my question, but researched and tested the pizza machine he built to make sure it was running correctly. He sent me pictures of his test pizzas and called me again to go over ingredients of the things I order. Sadly, some of the ingredients on my pizza are corn related (my allergy) and it's been making me sick.Brian AGAIN went out of his way to research his other products to make sure I still had something I could order without getting ill. I am beyond impressed with that level of customer service and highly encourage everyone to support this local business.”
“I have not found a crepes restaurant that was that good since my time out in Hawaii. Muddy crepes reminded me of Hawaii and how much I missed it. 100% would recommend, and I will keep coming back.”

“I go here 1-2 times a week for the last 2-3 years and love it. The only drink I don't recommend is the cold brew. It was not strong and it was watered down but that's not my usual drink. Everything else I've had (and I think I've had the whole menu by now) has been amazing. Very FAST service too.”
“I visited South Dakota for the first time last week (4/4-7/24). I got in Thursday night and left early morning Sunday. I had Armadillos on Friday and liked it so much that I went back Saturday as well. Do I feel bad having ice cream two days in a row? Nopity Nope. I even went out in the rain for it on Saturday. Very quick service from the nice young adults working there! A clean an welcoming environment. It looked like a great place to meet a friend, or for a kid to celebrate a birthday. Maybe even have a first date? Loved it! South Dakota is a beautiful state. I hope to visit again and when I do, I will be sure to stop by Armadillos again!”
“I love how you can get a free cookie on your birthday. The cookies are always so soft and tastes amazing. There's always new flavors. You should have a custom suggestion for a cookie of the week.Service is always above and beyond great. Everyone is so helpful. The atmosphere is always cheerful and clean. Thank you!”
“The beer flight holders are so stinking cool!! The beer was pretty good (I'm more a red wine guy). Knocked one star because I don't have a great reason to give it 5/5. It was a good experience and I've been back since then, and they do seem to have some pretty unique beers, but it still just doesn't feel like a full 5/5.”
“Amazing meal with fabulous service from a very professional & hard working Sarah. Salty Cowboy cocktail was carefully made a so tasty. Fillet mignon was perfectly cooked, tender & juicy. (Love that the menu included a map of the beef) Wedge salad was colorful, full of interesting ingredients & blue cheese dressing was fresh. Apple crisp desert with home made icecream was excellent way to finish this meal.”
“Love everything about this place. The food, the service and the atmosphere are all awesome. Easily a hidden gem that needs to be discovered by anyone coming to rapid.”
“My dad and I went to this place pretty much everyday for breakfast on our short trip to South Dakota. Each day, our food was delicious and prepared very quick. Every waitress we had was very personable and attentive, frequently returning to refill our drinks. I would definitely recommend for anyone passing through the area to try this great, family owned business.”
“Clean, well staffed with professionals, and consistent in their menu selections. They keep the salad bar well stocked and tidy, and the lettuce is always fresh and crisp. Top notch restaurant in Rapid with a nice atmosphere and reasonable prices for high quality food. PS - Chislic is not on the menu but they have it if you ask for it! ❤️”
“This is one of my favorite restaurant in all of rapid city and the surrounding area, the food is literally fantastic and fulfilling. I love getting spring rolls and rare beef pho, it genuinely tastes as if God himself touched his little finger in each and every single bowl of pho. Please go here, service is fantastic and the food is even better.”
“Our server Nichole Brown goes way beyond to help. She is top notch on everything you ask. And gave us the best service with a smile. Recommend her highly. 5 stars”

“This place is great! The Food the waitresses everything! We started out with Chili cheese fries!! They were soooo good! Then I ordered the Chicken Cordon Blue with potatoe rounders! Everything from the Wraps to the burgers were amazing. There were no complaints from our very large crew!!”
“The manager (guy) is super nice and was so patient with his new employee who was working the register! We got a half and half pizza (each something different). It was ready in under 10 mins.Vegetarian options: You can order an all veggie pizza there.Parking: Tight fit on a very busy road and not in the best part of town. (Not their fault)”
“Love this place! The management and bar staff are so kind! I have noticed, you have, and should be kind to them to earn their respect. But anyone who has worked in serving or customer service at all should now that. Being respectful should be a priority! But anyways, wouldn't want to go to any other bar. Especially in Rapid City!”
“Wonderful good. My friend & I enjoyed breakfast & were also lucky enough to be able to partake of a few items from the lunch buffet before we were to full to eat anything else. The person assigned to our table was great. She made sure we didn't need anything else.Vegetarian options: Lage salad bar. Great selection of vegetables.Parking: When the restaurant gets busy, the parking lot does get full. But Walmart is right there, so the overflow could park in their lot.Kid-friendliness: They have kid friendly flavored pancakes & even chicken nuggets on the breakfast buffett.Wheelchair accessibility: It has handicap parking & wheel chair accessible tables.”
“Finally ate at Borrachos and it didn’t disappoint. I had the carnitas burrito with fries and it was delicious! The seasoning on the fries is amazing also. My husband had the combo plate with enchilada, burrito, taco, rice and beans and he enjoyed his meal also. All for under $25! We will definitely go back!”
“Love coming here! There are so many options to choose from. You could literally never eat the same thing twice! And they have gluten-free buns, which is nice since I have a kiddo with celiac. Staff is very friendly and quick.Dietary restrictions: Great gluten free option.”
“Oh my god wow the burritos were so amazing here in the morning. Even though they are premade they are amazing and are super eggy and half of the best cheese I have had and are extremely full. They cost $5.50 which is a great price and is cheaper than some other bases that been around. they’re chili salsa is that spicy to a point of unbearable eating? I actually ended up eating every single container of chili sauce so I got for the seven days I was here on base. They have a large and clean kitchen that is directly accessible from the exchange, and exactly next to the exchange store. Super friendly people and people I see often here during lunchtime, including the military folks.I highly recommend going here and checking it out if you have CAC card.”
