“Such a great spot! My family drove in after visiting Wind Cave NP and on our way to the Mammoth Site in Hot Springs. The food was so good. The burrito with smoked pork and mac n cheese was incredible! Can't recommend the place enough. It has a "bar" feel, which we were fine with, but do be prepared. Nice kids options too. The owner takes pride in the place which was nice to see as well.Parking: Easy parking right across the street by the riverKid-friendliness: Nice kids options on the menu“
“I've done Taco John's in other states, so I knew what was coming in terms of the food - six pack and a pound for the kid and I, chicken for the daughter and the tatchos for my wife. The place was pretty busy and on a short crew and they still turned out nice hot food and were friendly. Really, I can't complain - they did a good job with how busy they were and with the staffing level they were at. I'm sure it had to do with the fact this was on a Tuesday and few restaurants seemed to be open at lunchtime.“
“Excellent southern style BBQ with some Mexican food accents. Really good smoke on the meat, and done the RIGHT way, low and slow. I had tender, juicy pork. Unique "smoked" margarita.$20 to $25 per person for a filling meal and a cocktail. Excellent customer service. Interesting and clever/humorous decor.Don't let the road construction keep you from this great place!Parking: Currently only street parking behind the building, due to road construction on River St.“
