We were staying at the Roosevelt inn just across the road so this is a most convenient place to grab an early dinner upon arrival. It's a small place with some indoor seating but the bigger outdoor raised patio with umbrellas is really nice. Menu is simple I think basically just burgers but they are good with tasty fries. Very reasonable prices. Highly recommend.

An average restaurant with decent burgers, the Google Review ratings did throw me off as it was nothing spectacular. Upon entering, you can grab a menu by the cash register and order. I opted for a double hamburger and a single hamburger. It did take about 20mins for my two burgers to get to my table. The bun was cold but the fries were hot so I could assume the burger was made already but had to wait on fries. The cheese didn't fully melt onto the burger as well. It felt like there was only one cook and one person up front during lunch time so the staff seemed overwhelmed. Note that there are no bathrooms so you'll need to walk up the boardwalk to use it.

Nice little burger/fried food joint. Beef or Bison options. If it's in season, they have a good selection of local brews and growlers to sip on as well. The gentleman who waited on us was extremely friendly and helpful and made us feel at home the whole time we were there. It had the feel of an old timey worn down café yet spotless and uncluttered.Kid-friendliness: We took our kids outside, and there were a couple of other families there, and everyone seemed to get along great. They have everything that picky kids would eat, so I'd say it's fairly kid friendly.

I'm an honestly not sure why this place has 4.7 stars. It is a typical greasy diner. Burgers were fine but lacking in flavor, fries were decent, pizza was okay. The service was friendly, but I just don't get the hype. There is a place for diners in this world, but I expected more from a 4.7 rating. 3 stars is generous imo.

Great little spot with the hardest working guy we saw all of our trip! Perfectly cooked buffalo burger with the most delicious root beer we have ever had! Table space is small inside 3 booths?, we didn't want to fight the flies dining outside.

We found this place online because of the great reviews. We were expecting a sit down restaurant but it was more of a hamburger joint where you order at the register. We decided to stay because of the great reviews. There's only a few tables inside but later I realized there were several tables outside on their patio. The food was really good. I had the hamburger with sautéed onions and mushrooms and fries. My husband had pizza. The food was fresh and cooked to order. We watched them make the pizza. They have a 1919 root beer that I tried. Wow! The best root beer I've ever had. The guy that took our order was so kind and friendly. He even offered us a taste of several of the tap beers. All in all I'm so glad we stayed. I highly recommend.
