Our family still talks about this place when we bring up our vacation memories. Our chicken was green and rubbery. I'm still not sure how they're in business or where the decent reviews are coming from, if there is a new owner... but wow. This was a weird experience!

Good chicken fair price. We ate and had a beer for under $25.00. Not fancy but BBQ chicken was good.

Ordered brisket, it was a joke. No smoke ring and tasted microwaved. Waste of money.

This restaurant is extremely overpriced for what is likely Cisco out of the tub BBQ. Also charges a 2.8% convenience fee (didn't see mentioned on the menu). 0/10 don't recommend.

The best lunch anywhere!! Delicious & tender smoked buffalo ribs that can’t be beat. I have trouble chewing & especially meat because of radiation therapy for cancer & these ribs we’re the most tender meat I’ve ever ate. No microwaved meat for us. Our sides were fresh & delicious , too. The owner was very personable a delight to talk with.I cannot for the life of me understand the negative reviews. If we ever get back to Rushmore again we will be stopping by Reds for lunch!!

Amazing food in a diner-like atmoshpere. Husband loved the buffalo ribs. I had the chicken, tender, and full of favor. All meat is smoked. Potato salad like a Grandma would make. Highly recommend!!!!

Food is not worth the price or portions you get. Options of sides are limited if you get chips only 1 kind you get (plain). And atmosphere didn't feel inviting at all.

Walk in counter order with limited indoor/outdoor seating. It was fine for what it was. BBQ is something different for everyone, so it is hard to rate. 4 in the group, and all agreed, it's ok.

Pre cooked and reheated food from a distributor. This is not BBQ it is just reheated store bought food. Service was good, we were just let down by the food.

Food was good but pricey for the portion size. It is a tourist area so kind of expected.

The location of this BBQ shop is ideal, as it rests toward the outer edge of Keystone and is nestled at the base of a hill with ample trees and foliage. The parking situation, however, is far from ideal, in that there are limited spaces available. The food is not quite up to the standard that BBQ enthusiasts have grown accustomed to and this is truly unfortunate. The brisket is far off the mark and this is mainly due to the fact that the fat is not trimmed or rendered appropriately. The burnt ends are also nothing to boast about due to a major lack of char and flavor. The baked beans, on the other hand, are quite flavorful and memorable, as they are reminiscent of backyard BBQ. This location is right at average on all fronts, but with some work and appropriate rendering of fat and trimming, the potential is most certainly within reach.Parking: Parking available, but extremely limited.

My grandson and I stopped there and ate a bunch of buffalo ribs. The were the best thing we ate on our vacation. We met the owner , Ron and he visited with us while we ate. The girl at the counter and the guy working in back were very nice as well. Best BBQ in South Dakota, in our opinion. And we eat a lot of ribs everywhere!

Disappointing.worst Cole slaw I've ever had, chicken sandwich wasn't bad but it wasn't good either, everything cost at least 60% more than I could justify paying again, staff was nice, building was clean, view on the porch was the best part about being there but Dairy Queen has better food and a similar view for a bit cheaper.
